Nice to see she said "It's big" before she said I love you. If my girlfriend did that I would immediately have second thoughts.

If I were in Saban's position, I'd keep whatever I damned well pleased in the bathroom, including a fully stocked pantry and a fridge of beer.
But the semantics of that section don't necessarily imply the snacks were in the bathroom. Since it required a new paragraph, it's probably totally separate from the preceding sentence, i.e. he admired the bathroom and also found the snack stash in a completely separate situation.

When it comes to proposing though. If the girl starts talking about how big the ring is or how beautiful it is before she says yes or I love you, you should re-think the relationship.

I don't even have to read the rest of the article to know that is a great story. Props to that guy. He will have a story to tell for the rest of his life.
