3-0 on Friday
13-3 on Saturday

Has a reigning national championship team ever been swept in the season opening series, at home?

Long Beach has historically been good and MSU had a bullseye on them.

No biggie.

Good team we're up against, and the State is off to a slow start

Long Beach State would bitchslap a few SEC teams on a regular basis, not just for one weekend.

Maine?

The team LSU has put up 30 runs in two games on?

I’m fairly confident that LSU would’ve put up more than 3 runs in 2 games vs Long Beach St.

Solid coping mechanism though.

Depends on the outcome of today’s games, obviously…

Maine kids are happy just to be outside without parkas, and stupid coonass is bragging about beating them in baseball.

Dumbfrickery on full display.

Last years National Championship team was swept at home by Arkansas and lost two out of three to Missouri (the worst team in the league) at home as well.

So if we get swept this weekend it is no big deal. In fact it may be the best thing to happen to this team.

We will be fine.
