Movie is set in Savannah, where the Seilers live (family that owns Uga). Uga V played his father, Uga IV in the movie.

The Toy, starring Jackie Gleason and Richard Pryor was filmed in Baton Rouge with scenes shot at LSU, the Camelot Club, the old Godchaux's on main and the A C Lewis house.

Sonny Seiler(Uga's owner) was the attorney for Jim Williams during the trials...
Uga V plays his dad Uga IV, Seilers dog in the movie(Uga IV died before the movie started shooting.
Seiler (Williams real attorney) played the Judge in the movie..

According to IMDB "The Program" was filmed in Columbia and features Williams-Brice Stadium as the stadium of the home team.
