well sure. Even they though had HCA last year and were the three seed, I just didn't believe they were a top 4 team in the Western Conference after losing Gallinari for the year. I think the only west playoff teams they would have beaten were Houston and the Lakers. The Nuggets were one of those teams that are easier to beat in the playoffs once you game plan specifically for them and make game-to-game adjustments. During the regular season, you dont have the time to key in and focus on one team.

which is my point exactly. george karl was never the coach that was going to get them over the hump because once they ran into a pop coached spur team, a jackson coached laker team, etc, they werent going to win because he can not coach in the playoffs. hes the guy that will get you wins, but will never get your team over the hump
