What is the most memorable phantom penalties against your team that had an impact on the outcome of a certain game?

Which ones upset you the most?

For me, the 2009 Florida game comes to mind, as does the 2004 Florida game. More recently, the 2014 game against aTm comes to mind when Skipper was called for "tripping" though, after watching replays of that play, it may have been the correct call.

2009 Florida/Arkansas

What about Phantom no-calls? Because LSU was offsides.

"Skipper Tripper" was the correct call... which makes it all the more frustrating to watch. Just a horrible decision on his part.

As for the Florida calls... yeah... I'm not even going to think about them for fear of what it will do to my blood pressure. It will be interesting to see how a Florida program that seems to be bouncing back will do on the road, late in the year, at Arkansas when the weather should be cold, wet, and nasty.

Maybe not exactly "phantom," but there were 2 or 3 PI calls in the 4th quarter of the OU game that were pretty questionable, and I think all of them occurred on 3rd down. They may have not been able to force OT and eventually win if not for those calls. Either way, goddammit Colton Jumper

Who is crying?

It is the off season and this board needs a thread to create discussion.

Skipper tripped that guy. lol.

You're right, though. It seems like every time we play Florida in anything we get robbed.

Side-note: I was at the Lsu game two years ago in Arkansas and we got a holding penalty called against us . My brother asked me who did it and I told him "probably frickin skipper." Some dude heard me and told everyone he was with that it was Dan Skipper who did it. It wasn't Skipper, btw. I got a good laugh out of that one.

NYC prefers the help board opposed to football discussion.

LSU fans should all be saying 2006 Auburn. I guess you'd call it a no call, but the officials picked up a pass interference flag after making the right call. Total bullshite. JaMarcus Russell deserves a national championship.

Worst I've ever seen was probably the Touchdown awarded to Vanderbilt against Auburn back about 15 years ago. I've seen the video posted on these boards several times, but you can clearly see the ball hit the Vandy receiver in the back and then bounce on the ground, yet the official signals TD.

Worst I've ever seen by far.

Still had a shot to win and failed to do so.

That was a great call. Arky cheated and got caught.

frickin Vandy. They always get all the calls in big games and it's bullshite. They been taking money from their high paying job salaries and paying off refs with it?

(But seriously yeah, I've seen that replay and that call was atrocious.)

The phantom targeting call in 2011 vs the poor whorns, flag was thrown by a ref that had nothing but whorn gear on him in all of his Facebook photos, AND he was a troll who posted all of the time on TexAgs using his real name.

Ridiculous

He was also famous for his fist pump after a TD vs CU

2013 at tusca.

LSU 17 ala 17 4th quarter

Ala plays a 3rd and long and throws an intermediate pass to the right sideline near midfield.
An LSU DB is in the area, BUT DOESN'T EVEN TOUCH THE RECEIVER.
Flag........ "PI".
And what happens when you get a horrible call against you? That's right. Next play ala TD.
24-17. Game over.

2014 at BR.
LSU recovers a Yeldon fumble inside the ala. 10 yard line with the score tied 10-10.
After a running play was over with, an ala. player ON THE GROUND....REFUSES to let go of Vadal Alexander, baiting him into the usual bad call 'personal foul' penalty we get against those people. Alexander tries to pull the ala player off.
Instead of offsetting penalties, ALEXANDER gets the personal foul call. 15 yards. LSU settles for FG.

2009 at tusca.
PP has """""""""""" BOTH FEET """"""""""" down, not just ONE, and has hands clearly holding the ball for an INT. It is called incomplete. Miles throws challenge flag.
The replay official tells the official on the field NOT TO EXPLAIN, just say "the ruling on the field stands."

Most memorable one lately was when Hogs Head Coach flopped on sideline at the Bama game to draw a penalty. Should have been fired on the spot.
