The two Mizzou fans in the thread didnt even make a peep about USCe.
Your first post didn't even answer the OP. You just complained about his choice poking at the fact that the UGA/USC game decided 2nd in the East.

I mean, is it really that out of line to pick the defending East champ in an important game the following season?
It isn't THAT out of line but y'all did lose more than any other East team this offseason. It isn't likely Mizzou makes a repeat trip to Atlanta this season. A Mizzou fan should know better than anyone that the previous season has nothing to do with the next one...

It is and it was fun. You might want to tell cock rocket though before he completes his dissertation.

He is one, along with a couple from our side, that are still butt hurt.

Not for me. They gave us sooo much shite for losing to Tennessee (along with everyone else, rightly so) but it was especially bad from then because we played them the very next week.

They were getting themselves so pumped for a complete arse-whooping similar to the one we gave them in 2012 and then DOINK. They lost their fricking minds.

Well, SEC is the answer here. Come on now. That 2007 team was better than our team last year IMO.

SEC West - LSU v AU

Realistically, I think Bama/LSU is the game to decide the West. Auburn's schedule is brutal next year with tough home games and really tough trap road games with both rivals on the road at the end of the year.

For the east, I think UGA/USCe is a good pick. Early in the season and could set the tone for one of the teams to pick up steam.

USC lost plenty themselves. So did UGA, and we have the best QB and DL.

We are just as likely to win it as anyone else.

I think the Cocks have a good chance, but they are massively overrated and I just don't quite get it.

The Iron Bowl will decide the West. LSU's QB situation may be the bleakest in the country.

problem is that we have to make it to the Iron Bowl with a chance at the West. We really have the toughest schedule I remember us having ever. Our road games seem perfectly timed to be tough trap games and our home games are tough then ending the year with two rival games on the road. We are a badass team if we come out with 1 loss and a pretty damn good team if we only drop 2 this year.

I definitely don't see anyone running the table in 2014. Not in the SEC at least.

Maty "51%er" Mauk? Puhlease.

Y'all have 0 depth behind your starters on DLine, way too early to say if you'll be the best especially when its yet to be seen how well your guys will do now that they have to play every down.

Well obviously the SEC has given y'all much more visibility. I just remember in '07 before the KU-Mizzou game thinking that both teams weren't that great because I believe neither of them beat Texas or OU. Unfortunately for Missouri, that's the same way things appeared this year, even though they did have great teams both years.

FWIW, I think Bama-LSU and USC-UF are the most important games this year. The USC-UF game is a little bit of a cop out, because I feel that if South Carolina wins that game, they will most likely win the west. But as most of us know with USCe, you can lose to them and still have a chance to win the East (same with every team, but still). If Florida wins they could have a great chance to win the East, but it also opens the door for teams like UGA and Mizzou. I think Bama-LSU is the most important game in the West because that will be an incredibly tough environment for Coker to play in and Auburn's schedule this year is brutal.

East: either Georgia or South Carolina at Auburn. But I am telling y'all, don't overlook the Vols. The stockpiled talent there the past couple years is astounding.

West: Alabama vs. either LSU or Auburn.
