I don't see how you can equate making the NCAA tournament to barely sneaking into a bowl game. College basketball has 10x the parity of college football, and your wins carry much more weight than dominating a weak OOC schedule in football

I'm not even talking about the SEC specifically, just in general. Barely making the tourney and barely making a bowl game, for any decent (not good) program in their respective sports, that's nothing to be proud of at all. Only bad programs would believe they have arrived due to either making the NCAA tourney or going to the Belk Bowl or whatever. I guess that's my overall point, rather than to directly compare them, to say that neither one is anything special at all. Except to bad programs.

I can agree with that. It's not like I'm saying LSU basketball has maxed its potential. We were just a complete shite show three years ago, so making the tournament and winning big games again is a nice accomplishment. Obviously it varies from school to school

The Masters and spring games = the most exciting month in sports to you?

Well that's odd.

One of the most under-utilized tenets of trolling is to make your post and walk away.

Basketball still sucks, including this stupid-arse tournament.

Sorry, we don't glorify cheating cheaters who cheat.

Hope Calipari gets the runs during your 1st round game and shits himself so hard that it leaks onto the floor, and then your entire team slips on his poopy accident, hits their heads, and are rendered incapacitated for the rest of the game, resulting in a forfeit.

I am not a fan of UK basketball, is what I'm trying to say here.

Why would you pick on Georgia who finished in the top 10 in the nation in football and is third in the conference in basketball? How about name any other team in the conference for your example next time, since you know, they'd actually the fit the awful point you are trying to make?

Best month is October
College football in full swing
NFL action heating up
MLB playoffs and World Series
NBA tips off
College hoops tips off

March Madness is it's own entity but that is about the only thing really settling anything.

This x 100000. October is a true sports betters month. The NCAAs are nice for the first 6-7 days then it just becomes regular playoff basketball. Nobody really cares except basketball junkies. But to be fair, there ARE a lot of junkies.

Nothing in his post said anything about Georgia.
