Moo can't do anything right. Thanks a lot for this snoozefest of a CWS. Embarrassing.

What? I thought the Carolina/Florida series was a pretty good one.

The only extra base hit was a missed dive attempt by the State left fielder lol.

Because of small ball. I'm not discrediting UCLA in anyway. It's just harder to watch when the batter isn't rewarded for a pitcher's mistake. TD Ameritrade is terribly notorious for this.

Didn't Eric predict (an attempted jinx) that UCLA would win 8-0 in game 2 and everyone laughed because they weren't suppose to be able to score runs?

Omaha has killed what makes the CWS great.

Since LSU hasn't been in it the last few years I wasn't able to watch many games in the new stadium until this year.

The combination of dead bats and a way to large outfield has ruined what makes College Baseball great.

The whole CWS was pretty boring. Not to beat a dead horse, but something has to be done. The threat of a game changing/game winning homer has been eliminated, and with it, the excitement of the game. It allows pitchers to make huge mistakes and get away with it. That is not baseball.

Obviously it was exciting for me. What I was referring to was the first year of TD Ameritrade.

I can't watch this shite anymore. This is the first time I've quit on it in years. I don't like that the threat of the long ball or a comeback has been eliminated by the conditions.

Simply put, this is garbage. I don't mind low scoring, but the pitching is not even exciting, it's an exploitation of a terribly designed park.

Yeah the orientation of the park is TERRIBLE. 99% of the time the wind is going to be blowing in/across at TDA.

Either they keep things the way they are and everybody will look like UCLA in a few years, the clean up hitters will all be a buck 70 with 25 sac bunts on the year, routine ground ball errors by the opposing team bring on beer showers and throat slash signs from the beneficiary, and leaning into the pitch becomes the new "lost art" (it certainly isn't bunting)...

or they do something to balance the game.

This feels like some kind of version of cricket.

I agree it was not as exciting as the year before but the last Virginia game and the first Florida game could not have been more exciting.

Because we let the bases get loaded on us multiple times.

Pitching is exciting when your back is on the wall.
