And coming in high on the "Representing every possible movement in architecture over the past 100 years in a completely disjointed and nonsensical way, sometimes within a single building" category is the University of Arkansas.

Yeah, the College of Charleston should definitely be on there. I was stationed in Goose Creek in the Navy, and the talent was awesome thanks to that school.

LSU:
Its most recognizable buildings and features include its grassy, tree-lined Quad, Swine Palace, Greek Theater, and Pentagon. LSU’s ivy-covered brick buildings have also appeared in movies

What the actual frick?

Here's Lejeune hall in the pentagon (the building I lived in the most):

I mean, I enjoyed my time there, but "most recognizable"?

And "ivy-covered brick buildings"?

The main buildings are neither brick nor ivy covered.

I wonder where it was they actually were...

I don't think the person that wrote this article actually visited and/or did much research. In fact I know they didn't.

Would not put University of Louisville and "Most Beautiful Campus" together. UL is nothing but an ugly city school.

That list just aint right. I attended some of those in grad schools and my kids attended others. all out of whack.
I tend to rank based on the beauty of the flora and fauna (particularly the beaver population)

Virginia Tech definitely belongs on this list. Their campus is gorgeous.

Located in one of Atlanta’s oldest neighborhoods, Emory University is classically southern in every sense of the word.

Except for all the prep school kids from Connecticut that go there and live in my neighborhood.

And Agnes Scott is the size of The Quad at Alabama. If that. Also, lesbians.

Berry is beautiful. I wasn't surprised to see it on the top of the list.

The best campuses I have visited are Ole Miss, UCLA and Pepperdine.

I spent several years at both LSU and WFU. Can't believe they rate Wake (17) above LSU (22). LSU is a much prettier and more classic campus. Can't complain about UVa being 1 though. Classic architecture and designed by Jefferson. Outside of the South, Yale is the most stunning campus I have visited. UCLA is surprisingly nice too. Most of the Big10 campuses I have seen were not very pretty.

agreed.. The coolest thing about Virginia Tech is how the ENTIRE campus has the same architectural style, down to the color of the brick and moldings. VT is gorgeous in the fall.

I agree with Virginia Tech. I think Clemson should be too. Clemson looks like what I thought a college / college town looked like before I ever saw one.

I been to Elon, Furman. Both legit choices but neither has a little downtown area adjacent to campus. The old part of Mercer is nice but don't think it is top 30 overall.

LSU campus is decent but I think there are lot of people especially from east coast who wouldn't like both the tree types and the architecture.

Alabama looks nice, at least in Google street view.

WIlliam and Mary in Williamsburg VA is a nice one. UVA is nice, but I think UNC is a little overated, kind of has a overgrown jungle vibe to it, plus a busy hospital on part of the campus.

SC isn't really beautiful but a decent urban campus, especially the Horseshoe area.

I don't think Vandy's or UNC's mix of buildings is very attractive.
