In some ways, this reflects the entire fanbase. I live in Louisiana and believe me when I tell you, they would rather see LSU lose than Alabama win.
Ask any one of them if they would prefer LSU win it's bowl game or Alabama lose in the playoff. 100% of the time, they'll say they want Alabama to lose. No shite, 100% of the time.

Most of us think Moscona is an overbearing, look at me, idiot, a-hole, hot take artist, to the point that threads mentioning him get wacked quickly on the tiger rant. Why the same policy is not applied here is beyond me.

And, to really "rip someone's arse", it's kind of an imperative that you hold some sort of advantage (positional or personal) over them, no? A boss can rip an employees arse. A dad can rip their kids arse for fricking something up. In the reverse, you're just telling them off.
That said, an LSU guy on a niche LSU fan show talking shite is akin to posters on here that start "Hey (insert school, fan base, person, or Coach here)" threads directed at an audience with little or no chance of ever reading it on an SEC fan site.

Not 100% as I would want for LSU to win.... However you are correct that majority would want for Bama to lose regardless. Thats what happens when you get you arse kicked year after year by one team.
