is this a real question?
why not throw in womens gymastics, since forever there has been a chance to win a national championship?
teams in the south and west have an inherent advantage over northern teams in baseball, because of the weather. sort of the opposite for hockey.
football offers no such climate advantage for any one area of the country.

The SEC dominance in both men's and women's T&F is more impressive than any of them if we're really digging in to the weeds.

Plus, getting to Omaha is less a popularity contest than football and more a grueling challenge starting with regular season play, conference tournaments, regional placement, and super regionals.

I agree with this. TandF is the real sport anyway. no bad bounces or lucky breaks win you anything in this sport. just you and your legs need to get to the finish line first.

They aren't close in I impressiveness either.
The fact that the sec has on average 3 teams in the top 5 or 6 every year is insane whereas we only have that many, maybe 1 or 2 more in a 64 team field in baseball.

West coast. Back in the day, LSU was our (southeast baseball fans) only chance of winning a championship.

I would say they are equally impressive, and should leave no doubt to the rest of the country why the SEC is the Fushizzle of all conferences.
However, to have to be at your best through regionals, super regionals and the CWS is pretty badass.

In football you have to be at your best from week 1 all the way through the first week in January. Yeah, there are a couple cupcakes along the way, but you can lose a few games in baseball and be fine. Not so in football.

Dude don't try and preach the football is better to me BS and waste your time. I just wrote a very untruthful post about baseball because I was in the baseball spirit. Nothing can touch where I place College Football. It stands above all others.
