So we'll have to wait until next year for a chance to go to the SECCG and finally be relevant?

Wait. I thought y'all went last year and became relevant. Did I miss something?

Rant predictions:

Team X plays Mizzou.
Mizzou will lose.
They're not that good.
Repeat next week.

Good job, Ranters.
Never heard such a thing before.

Well. In fairness. Nobody picked Indiana to beat you.

I laugh when people say that. They talk about quality wins but never mention who all Mizzou lost from last season. Mizzou probably lost more offensive starters than any SEC team. How many SEC teams lost 7-8 starters on offense and are still competing for a division title??

...why would anybody mention that? While it may be accurate, it has nothing to do with the quality of your wins this year.

If anyone cares to remember, we were picked 23rd in the division which means EVERY win would be quality.

An unexpected win doesn't equal a quality win.

Quality does not mean an upset, necessarily. It means beating a quality opponent.

Ok that's not Mizzou's fault the other SEC teams they play aren't winning. Mizzou is doing their part.

Well, in fairness we have done pretty well. And, I would say that A&M is a quality win for you.

Once again is it Mizzou's fault UF, UK, South Carolina are bad??? Is it Mizzou's fault they beat an overrated TAMU which smoked Auburn the week before.lol. TAMU was good when they beat Auburn, now since Mizzou beat them, they suck again.

We might, I'd say there's even a decent chance we do. It's just worth it to remember that Mizzou was supposed to lose every SEC game this year according to the predictions of many on the rant.

Mizzou's offense seem to be coming together now. Don't see why people expect them to lose. That TAMU game was the type of offense I'd expect from Mizzou.

Book it. Decent, blue-collared type talent with major inconsistency will run cold here at the end where it matters. Nice record without one quality win headed to TN then at home to play the awakened giant.

I think they sqeek out another win like they did at A&M, but lose to Arkansas at home. Arkansas may end this season on a 3 game winning streak.

winning the SEC

Who said anything about winning the SEC? Think you're gonna win the SECCG even if you get in it? Better think again

Honestly, I think Mizzou loses both games. I mean they did lose to Indiana. The Vols better easily beat Mizzou, more talent, big stadium, great fan support. They should have no problem with lil Ol sorry arse Mizzou. If Indiana can beat Mizzou, the Vols better destroy them.

Which one of these seem more easily obtainable to you?

so Mizzou doesn't want a trip to ATL because we know we can't beat a Westie?

I've seen some weak troll here lately but this one may reset the bar.

This thread is absurd, both of these games could go either way. All I know is that Mizzou is about to play two competitive football games against teams that they've been better than over the course of the season.

over the course of 2 seasons really but Mizzou's stock has consistently risen with quality of play, players returning from health issues, etc.

but only on the rant would a chance for a "6 win bowl game" be seen as greater motivation than a shot at the SEC CC game.

obviously sanity such as your's and mine are not welcome in this thread.
