Everyone has speed but it hurts alot more when that speed catches up with you in the form of a brick wall with an attitude. That will be the shocker to these boys, SEC speed is speed with muscles & a nasty attitude. I'd be anxious to hear from them about midway through the season.

but some of the quotes in the article are ridiculous.

The "official" Mizzou stance is we don't stand a chance. This is a huge mistake. We may never win another football game. We can't handle the SEC.

Hopefully this clears it up and makes you feel properly respected and warm and fuzzy and all that shite.

EDIT: Translation= We ain't skeert. Deal with it!

The Big12 teams are like indy cars. They look sexy and put up gaudy stats, but they can't get down and dirty to slug it out for a win.

The SEC is like NASCAR. Fast enough to be respected, but with fenders to add teeth to any tussle.

Mizzou will get their shite pushed in if they approach the SEC schedule thinking teams will automatically adjust to THEM.

ETA: Terrible analogy--it's been a long week

So the best plan of action is to scrap everything that got you to where you are now and start over at square 1 while entering the best football conference in the land?

How 'bout we stay our course, you guys implode and start over and we'll compare notes at the end of the season.

Easy there, pdiddy! I love the confidence, actually. Wish I had more in A&M, tbh.

I think Mizzou will do OK.

Aggies have a much more difficult schedule.

I'm cheering for Mizzou and aTm in their first years against everyone but Bama. I want to see them do well and become a part of the conference. Like it or not, they have an SEC logo on their jerseys now and they represent the conference. I hope they do well and represent the SEC well.

Missouri will be fine in the current SEC East. Those quotes don't say anything about dominating.

Didn't intend to douche on ya! Just amazed by the number of ranters that think Mizzou and aTm have NO WORLDLY IDEA WTF they are doing.

Oh well, as always, time will tell.

What's Mizzou's team looking like for 2012?

I'm sure y'all are scared shitless about having playing TAMU, UK, Vandy, and Tennessee this year.
