I'm anxious to hear how Hawthorne pronounces Rash's first name.

Never been to an SEC stadium where you could walk in, sit at field level right by the dugout and not be asked to move by a season ticket holder or stadium staff.

We sat right behind LSU's on deck circle and had other LSU fans fill in on the third row behind us. We all agreed that would never happen at the Box.

fricking hate people like you, if you want those seats pay money for them you poor frick.

Hey don't hate me. I paid good money for that seat. $5.00 general admission!

You would of been hating on a bunch of people yesterday because your season ticket holders were few and far between.

Football isn't apples to apples with baseball. NFL games are on Sunday and there aren't very many of them, 8 home games for both Rams and Chiefs. Royals and Cards have 81 home games each. That is a big difference.

Mizzou will compete just fine in baseball given a few years of SEC recruiting. There is just no way fans are going to drive in mass from St.Louis and KC for baseball games like they do for Mizzou football games.

It's not an issue of having the money, in regards to LSU atleast. For football and baseball, all of these big corporations literally buy rows of premium season tickets but don't really use them unless it is a marquee game.

If they are not being used, what is so wrong about sitting in those seats?

They aren't your seats.

Hate showing up to an event when I paid for season tickets and some worthless frick is in my seat, or even without season tickets.

Then instead of moving to where they should actually be at, they just shift a few seats. Shits annoying.

Because someone else paid for the right to not have anyone else sit in those seats.

They paid for the right to sit in those seats, not to have nobody else sit in them if they don't show up.

I've got glass tickets to the local hockey team here. If I don't go, I'll give away the tickets. If I can't give them away, I don't care much if someone's there.

I get in to this discussion with the people around my seats all the time. We pay for the seats, and we pay for the ability to not be kicked out when we try to sneak down to better seats.

I don't buy my seats to exclude other people from them, I buy them so I or my guests can have them when we want them.

Then you should tell your frickin school to quit having their stadium attendees encouraging people to sit where they want. We were ready to move if asked.

But, your stadium staff said we could sit there and no one ever showed up.

Next thing you should do is tell your frickin fans to show the frick up for a game, especially one against a nationally ranked team.

How about you go deal with those two issues before you waste time with your opinion of my "poor" arse.

You Mizzou Tigers have no clue and that was apparent last night as I drove past your shitty football stadium and then sat in your "premium" baseball seats.

Ya'll are ignorant to what you're involved in now. Your fans are still stuck on hating Kansas.

Besides the comment about the shitty stadium and the empty seats, I hope you're enjoying Columbia.

Yeah I am, except for the rain. Have Mizzou fans with me that also used those seats last night.

Enjoyed the Heitelberg restaurant last night.

I'm not trying to offend you, I have no issue with food stamps or welfare. I'm sure it's someone elses fault that you can't afford those seats, not yours.

I get it!

Rising tide lifts all ships.

Mizzou baseball is what it is. We're coming from a conference where it is a minor sport. It will improve, fan-wise, facility-wise, and competitively.

Football has suffered from a recent decade and a half of absolutely horrendous support from the university itself, and it showed on the field. It even shows in the facilities. Once the team got the support it needed, it got upgraded facilities, and it showed on the field. With the exception of last year, Mizzou football has been pretty strong over the last 10 years or so, especially in comparison to the previous years.

The athletics department as a whole is probably 10-15 years behind where it should be because of the university's stance on athletics in the 80s. It's catching up now, but it will take some time.

People currently between the ages of 30 and 40 really did have very little to be excited about when it came to Mizzou athletics outside of basketball. It's a lost generation of Mizzou fans.

That's been changing over the past decade, and it will continue going forward.

After what I saw last night it is obvious that you Mizzou fans don't get it!

You don't know me so I'm not worried about your personal shots

If it bothers you that much tell your Univ. and then tell your fans.

What section were you sitting in last night? You weren't up in the sky boxes cause they don't exist at Taylor Stadium.

A very large number of Mizzou fans and students barely know MU has a baseball team. And if they do, they have preconceived notions about it, the whole aluminum-bat/inferior-baseball/club-sport attitude.

Mizzou Baseball and college baseball in general have not been adequately promoted or advertised or supported by the Athletic Department over the years.

There are tons of baseball fans in the area - we support 2 major league teams quite well. But those baseball fans - who are also Mizzou fans - haven't been given enough reason to try college baseball.

There are sign that the Athletic Department is waking up and wants to do better. But they will move slowly, unfortunately. They'd rather spend money on football and basketball.

I doubt we'll ever have or need a 10,000 seat stadium. I doubt we'll ever be an annual top of the SEC team. But we will get better.

Mizzou needs to build a stadium, then dish some money at Missouri State's baseball coach. That man brings in some good in-state talent to Springfield,MO. Plus they play in a nice stadium.

Mizzou's baseball coach isn't the problem, he's just fine. Please look at his resume. And try to withhold all your posts about Missouri, I know you live here but you don't really know shite about Mizzou.

Compare current major leaguers from LSU and Mizzou... think you'd be a bit surprised.
