When we played Missouri in Atlanta, the one thing I noticed was how many of their fans wore Cardinals gear to the game.

I agree. The MAC seems like the perfect destination.

I'm not a Mizzou hater, but Missouri is a pro sports state. Mizzou will never have as passionate a fan base as an Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, Kentucky etc

I agree with OP. Big 10 sounds great. They generate more revenue than the SEC and have much better academics. There's no way Mizzou is going to be okay with NC State or UNC joining the conference.

Since the Big 10 actually owns it's network A&M and Mizzou would probably make more money longterm if they were in the Big 10 over the SEC.

SECN's money train to the conference is going to get fricked in the arse w/no dinner date or lube once the entertainment only skinny TV packages started draining the ESPN coffers.

Yes, please. GTFO. Let us help you pack. We can both pretend that you were never here.

Adding Mizzou was like waking up in the morning with some fat hose beast you dragged home from a bar and thinking, "How quickly can I ditch this troll before anyone finds out I banged her"

That's funny, a few weeks ago when we played at their baseball field I noticed how many of their fans wore Razorback gear...until I realized they were actually just our fans.

We should have taken WVU- that's an SEC level passion.

You can make an interesting case that joining the SEC cost Mizzou a title shot in football. That Michael Sam team's pass rush might have been entto carry y'all through the Big 12 that year that was your first in the conference.

All their fans left before the second quarter when we played @Missouri in football. That turnout they had for the game vs Arkansas to end the season this year was pathetic. It was the worst showing I'd ever seen by a SEC fanbase. Worse than anything I've seen from Vandy because Vandy has good reasons to not have a large fanbase.

Vanderbilt certainly agrees that you aren't an academic peer.

News flash OP, you guys aren't leaving and UNC and NC St aren't coming, at least for 10 plus years. It is doubtful at this point the SEC would take both NC schools. Long term goal is probably one VA and one NC or perhaps a humbled Texas and a happy Oklahoma....sorry aggies.

I didn't like when the B1G added Maryland & Rutgers. To be honest don't even like Nebraska. Just has a weird feel. Mizzou would be much better for the B1G but have enjoyed them in the SEC

Right about that one

Attention all other Mizzou fans: this post sums up why we don't like you. Coming to the SEC board with a weak high-horse attempt to try and trash the SEC

I think everyone agrees you don't belong here anyway.

Don't pity the OP troll. 90% of MIZ fans in the state couldn't be more glad to be in the SEC. 5% Miss the B12, particularly those over 60 years old and near KC that deal with ku and ksu fans. The other 5%, mostly towards STL still long for B10 for academic grant reasons and regret not taking a junior membership.

and I was one of them. It was raining like crazy and there was a 30 minute rain delay. Nobody wanted to stay around to get soaked and possibly sick just to watch our team get beat by 40. It just wasn't worth it.

You got to be kidding me. I've never seen more conference envy in my life than I see in your posts.
