If you think that match up is bad, you should see some of our other upcoming home and home series.

I'm not going to hand you the ammo to shoot at Mizzou fans...just the hints to entice your google searches.

Mizzou should have just joined the Big 10ish if they're going to schedule their basement dwelling teams every year

Yeah, we're a little hurt on the scheduling front right now. Things got screwed up with the move and it'll take a while to get worked out. I'd like see us schedule games at Arrowhead with nebraska. We owe those children of the corn a few arse-whoopins.

Hardly suprising. Pinkel doesn't schedule hard games out of conference ever. He was kind of forced to play a decent OOC last year because of re-aligment, but even then it wasn't exactly murderer's row. I'm trying to remember the last time Mizzou played a top notch OOC opponent...???

Last one I remember was we played Ohio St in one of Larry Smith's last years as coach.

I think it's a brilliant move on Mizzou's part to be scheduling the lower rung of the Big X for OOC games. Obviously the Tigers will win on the field but the biggest wins will come on the recruiting front. The Big X states on Missouri's borders are ripe for the picking, recruiting wise.

UK is playing that game in Ohio and will most likely expand interest into Illinois and Pennsylvania. So far, recruiting results are nothing short of amazing in Ohio. We're yet to see the results of that recruiting success, of course, but things are certainly looking up.

Good move, Mizzou.

Yeah. That was my thought too. They're scheduling B1G teams in the Chicago area to recruit there.

They snagged a 4* Indiana LB this year and are in on 4* WR Dominique Booth as well.

So it's likely they're cultivating it as a secondary recruiting area.

You can't exclude instate rivals because the vast majority of them are good for your SoS.

Florida/Florida St(On occasion Miami)
Georgia/Georgia Tech (a bit more lopsided than the others but still they crap on anything your schedule)
South Carolina/ Clemson
Texas/ Texas A&M ... My bad, the Aggies are babies and schedule the likes of UTEP/RICE/Sam Houston instead. They can't even be bothered to schedule Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech or at least Houston.

As for your Question
Georgia | Clemson 2014
USCe | East Carolina 2014| UNC 2015(kinda weak but still better than what you got.
Florida | Michigan in 2017 (They are making an effort now)However, the state of Florida has a lot of quality teams.
Tennessee |Oregon 2013| Oklahoma 2014/2015| Virginia Tech 2016 (I wish all teams had OOC Schedules like this)

West]
Alabama | Virginia Tech 2013|West Virginia 2014| Wisconsin 2015 (Bama schedules good teams but they tend to suck the year they play bama for some reason)
LSU | TCU 2013 |Wisconsin 2014
Auburn | Kansas State 2013 | Louisville 2014
Arkansas | Tech Tech 2014 | TCU 2015

Alright time to step up to the plate and stop hiding behind the conference banner Mizzou.

I'm not any more impressed by many of those teams than I am by Purdue. Ga Tech, ECU, WVU, TCU, K State, Louisville, and Texas Tech... I'm surprised you didn't throw UCF in there.

ECU isn't really that impressive as a football team ,but they got a best fan base in North Carolina hands down and they travel fairly well. . You gotta try their barbecue.

Texas Tech can at least be counted on to have a 7+win season a year. Never contenders though.

Gatech, WVU, TCU, KState, and Louisville. Everyone of these teams have been to at least 2 BCS bowls. Which is 2 more than what you have been to.

I don't give Mizzou or USCe credit for scheduling UCF. Come on now, 3-5 years ago when you scheduled this game you were thinking cupcakes.
What counts is the intent to try schedule tougher competition.

Texas Tech lost 5 games in a row this year, to the only "good" teams in the Big 12. Playing the 6th best team in the Big 12 should not be a challenge for any SEC team.

If BCS bowls were awarded based solely on ranking and not on some convoluted system designed to "fairly" distribute bowl revenue among certain conferences, this fact would mean something.

We all know WVU would never have competed for a BCS Bowl in the Big 12, the ACC, the B1G, the PAC12, or the SEC. In fact, WVU went 4-8 this year in the Big 12, losing to Kansas and Iowa State and getting shutout by Maryland.

TCU also went 4-8. At least Ga Tech had a winning record, but 7-5 isn't that impressive. The same goes for K State, a team like Texas Tech that can't beat the "good" teams in the Big 12.

Louisville is an AAC team, so that's a joke.

These teams are cupcakes compared to the SEC. Maybe I am in a better position to observe this considering that Mizzou was playing many of these teams just 3 seasons ago... I'm more familiar with the teams as well as the stark differences between competing in the Big 12 and the SEC.
