To think Kirby has better prospects than Missouri isn't ignorant

I have no clue if we are going to go after him or not, but the fact that you have no basis behind "He just isnt coming" shows you do not know what you are talking about.

No basis except for the fact that after every season he receives interest from bigger and better jobs than Mizzou. Your program isn't all that appealing for a big time coach.

I'm not the only one saying it. The Bama fans are as well. They've watched for the last few seasons as he interviewed with different schools. He wants either the Bama or UGA job. He's happy where he is in the meantime.

This is key right here. He is happy doing what he is doing at UA and unless he gets a big break like Muschamp at a big time D1 school, he isn't leaving. His family loves Tuscaloosa and he doesnt want to pick up and move unless it is a huge step forward in his career.

A lot of the dawg faithful are convinced he's waiting to replace Sabah or richt. I like to think he's yalls heir apparent but that's what I always hear for whatever it's worth

I dont think he would turn down the UGA job if offered.

That isnt what I said, but to say that a candidate his level would never come to Mizzou is.

Nor do I. I think that's the level he's waiting for and I don't blame him. Like y'all said, he's just like muschamp

I'll give ya that but it'd require a chunk of change and then a large buyout.

I think Petrino would be a great hire tbh

I mean,I am not saying this will all be a slam dunk. But if Arkansas can get Bielema then I have a hard time seeing that we wont have options as well. Especially with there being potentially one coaching vacancy in the conference, that will help us even more.

True, I think the best case is going out of sec and nabbing a guy, like bmfb, who wants in. I'll admit I'm an arse but I agree with you. I just don't see the guys, like Kirby, who want the big kahuna, to come biting. I think y'all could poach at will from some b1g or pac 12 teams.

Maybe even Gundy?

Mizzou just needs to let that Mauck kid (from Ohio) be QB and pass like crazy. He holds the national record for passing yards. Maybe he can bring some excitement to this mizz-rable team.

That's dude looks like he's 180 wet. I'd let Franklin try to figure it out before I bobby reid'd him

Eat: of course the mizzou faithful would collectively nut themselves if they got a zac Robinson out of it

I have high hopes for Mauk in the future, but for now Franklin is kicking his arse this off-season.

I wish, but I dont think Gundy is realistic. I know he and T. Boone Pickens arent on great terms right now, but idk if he would come here. Maybe an Art Briles.

I highly doubt David Shaw wants in, but if he did I would give him a Blank Check.

I wouldnt be opposed to looking at NFL assistants either.

Shaw would be excellent buy yea, idk. Grundy would be worth a shot. Maybe kingsbury out of Texas tech?

I would be very careful there. NFL coaching is different than college coaching. Very few guys are highly in both places, see Spurrier and Saban.

I also have high hopes for Mauck, but he's going to have to take the job away from Franklin. Unless Franklin gets hurt again.

And Missouri is not a bad destination. Right now, a new coach here would get a big bag of cash and all the support he needed to be successful. The boosters won't stand for letting the program slip.
