Yes he helped create the "toxic dumpster fire" as you put it, and getting him out of town will help to clean it up. What else it will take remains to be seen, but we already know Mizzou fans don't really have very high standards in a HC, so it's not like there will be much pressure on the next guy to win.

I just don't see Mizzou getting a long tenure out of any coach they hire. They will be in a coaching carousel for a long time imo.
