No one with any brains ever thought Patterson was realistic.
The biggest name that could have happened was maybe Herman, but Houston has basically thrown the bank at him to stay.
Odom was the safe hire, uninspiring, but safe. In 3 years we'll be looking for a $5-6 million guy when boosters are tired of watching Mizzou score 10 pts a game.
