Right on 4ever...One of my problems with gays is the fact they refuse to admit its not normal. That's the problem with our society now...we've started accepting too much schit as normal!

No offense Bogie, but stuff like this is irritating. Like they have no choice in the matter, sorry, don't buy it. The new culture tries to brush this off as "it's who they are", but in reality, "it's what they do" that makes them homosexuals. It's a specific act, it's a lifestyle. They chose it somewhere along the way in their life.

Not offended at all. I am also a Baby Boomer and never even knew about "gay" until I went to college. Sure they choose to act upon their sexual orientation, but so do heterosexuals.

What offends me is members of the priesthood who hide behind their church and prey on young boys.

Sam did nothing wrong. I thought espn embarrassed themselves and were overboard on the coverage.

...or NCAA football coaches.

The church doesn't have a monopoly on disgusting and reprehensible acts.

Just saying.

Love you Bogie.

While I wouldn't do what Sam did, he was celebrating his moment with those he cared about. I don't really have a problem with it.

ESPN's coverage was over the top and playing it 3000x is ridiculous.

I don't care if Michael Sam is gay or straight but I don't tune into ESPN to watch social justice, I tune in for sports coverage. Seeing Sam and the guy he Rams in private putting cake on each other's faces is fricking wasting my time

Think he went way overt the top with his reaction to being drafted.

If he wants to be treated as a true equal he should be open to criticism for being overdramatic.

If a straight player behaved that way he would be criticized for being a bitch. Micheal Sam shouldn't expect special treatment.

Its is and was and probably will continue to be as long as Sam is in the NFL.

Thats unfortunate.

The reality is that as long as folks think things like a gay man playing in the NFL as "shocking" or "disgusting" they will continue to milk these topics for all they are worth in the name of the almighty dollar.

Little has changed, at the core, in the business of entertainment since the early days of Barnum and Bailey. Making folks one of the following: Angry,Shocked, Disgusted, is good for the bottom line.

Its very ironic when you think about it really.

Love you, too, kilo! (Platonically, of course)

I never meant to imply the Church had a monopoly on perversion. Just pointing out that a choice is actually made when any adult preys on young children.

No question.

In my opinion if we, as a society, would focus all this energy and money we spend worrying about what grown men and women do in their own private lives and spend those resources directed towards these adults that prey on the children we would be a lot better off as a society.

Bro, I totally agree with you on this, it's only when it's forced into my own personal domain I have a problem with it.

I understand. I dont fall on that judgmental plain where you are "for or against". I had not ever put any thought into the subject until my sister came out quite honestly.

Its NOT a black or white issue, and thats ok in my opinion.

Being respectful is the key, violence, bigotry etc has no place in a culture that just turned out of the 21st century.
