3) They're probably booing because Obama is about to meet with the Red Sox for the WS win.

Joe Manchin is one of Saban's closest childhood friends. Means nothing politically.

Gov. Bentley(Republican) held his election victory party at the Saban's private skybox at Bryant-Denny on election night.

That was a great day to be a Tiger. Probably the first time I smiled since the collapse the week before that I was still reeling from.

For some reason I knew this would become a story

Keep up the good work Obama if I could vote you in a third time over a republican I would but unfortunately you can only serve two terms

Obama has done excellent work in decreasing the student loan interest rate and making it easier to pay for college this is really the only reason I would probably vote for him

Isn't all of this reaching kindergarten level? I mean this thread is basically due to the word "President of the United States" being said in an oath and people booing like a 5 year old who just heard a bad word? To compound that are a bunch of post saying, "Yea they booed"?

Where does that rate on the intelligence scale?

Pretty much all sports fandom is at a kindergarten level. It's really just another form of tribalism and the vast majority of sports fans aren't even aware of it.

I was referring to our political discourse.

But I will agree with your response to avoid opening a Poli Board can of worms that I avoid at all cost. I only commented because I got really annoyed by the responses but I know it's best for me to quit while I'm ahead

Obama gets a free pass from the media on what he does, or doesn't do. If this were Bush the press would be constantly hammering him on the economy, scandals, hurricane Sandy aftermath, etc. I was no big GWB fan, either. But, He looks like he's from the Washington/Lincoln mold compared to Obama.

Hell yeah Missouri!

And I don't find it disrespectful to the military at all, as a Sergeant in the USMC, fwiw.
