Todd "Legitimate Rape" Akin used to be a representative in Missouri, so I'm sure many Missourians fit in quite well with the South. He's probably friends with Paul "Evolution is a lie from the pit of Hell" Broun.

I don't stand for the National Anthem or God Bless American at sporting events. We don't need religion and politics at sporting events.

You don't understand economics very well.

Keynesian economics have never, and will never, work. They are not meant as a means to run an economy long term..Quantitative easing and stimulus spending are only for short term fixes to boost a stagnant economy. THey are not meant to be implemented for years on end. It becomes a false prop up that eventually will come crashing down, and crashing hard.

It just defies all common sense logic and classic economic rules.

Go max out your credit card repeatedly, and borrow more money to keep paying for living expenses as you try to just make minimum payments on your debt. Come back in 2 years and tell me what happens to you

Race politics aside, George Wallace was a populist and not a supporter of rich man's politics. He was not Goldwater.

Its kinda hard to be both a racist and a populist, unless you're a segregationist, which Wallace was. He was, like our founding fathers, for the good of the white man, right?

I like that a-hole representative bemoaning that the university didn't "reprimand the crowd." First, BHO is a turd. Second, what are they going to do, beat them with wet socks?

That's actually pretty embarrassing. Despite his politics which you might disagree with, he's still the President of the United States, a position that should command tremendous honor and respect.

He's not saying that all republicans are racist,
but it's not like any KKK members or racist rednecks have voted democrat recently.

Booing the POTUS at a swearing in ceremony? As a former service member this is classless, tacky, and trashy.

There are legitimate reasons to dislike Obama, but there are a lot of people who don't like him just because he's black. Don't act like that isn't true.

What annoys me is when people claim they don't like Obama for things he's not, like a Muslim or a socialist. When people throw out those reasons, I can make one of two judgments about those people. Those people are either (1) racist or (2) incredibly stupid.

The NSA spying program should be enough to impeach Obama. But he'll never get impeached over that because Republican politicians want to be able to spy when they are the ones in power. Instead, they just shout "BENGHAZI!!!!" Idiots.

Trashy as frick and disrespectful to not only our POTUS but those taking the oath.

I liked HW as a person, loved Bubba, and couldn't stand Dubya. Even so, if I met Dubya today I'd shake his hand and be nothing but polite. If I got an invite to his WH I'd be there in a heartbeat and it would be 'yes, sir" and "no, sir" despite some very serious disagreements with him at the time (as well as today). No matter how awful he was or is in person I'm not going to insult my POTUS. And for better or worse, he was my goddamned POTUS just like Obama is my POTUS and everyone else's (and I have disagreements with him as well). The office deserves my respect and the respect of every citizen.

Even out of office, I was simply taught better than the nonsense you see both sides pulling against the so-called enemy but doing so while in-office is beyond the pale. It's not about the man (or woman) but about respecting the office.
