I dont know. Im hoping man. Trying not to throw the old jinx on them but the Cards have been balling down the stretch.

I love that I get to have Mizzou, Cardinals, Rams and Blues all there to support.

Always have been proud to have the stout Arkansas contingent as part of the Cardinals fanbase.

This Wild Card race will go much like it did last year.

Fixing to get paid in the off season.

What a year. If you're going to have a career year doing at 34 at the end of a contract is the year to do it for sure.

You KC folks need to get over your inferiority complex with all things cardinals.

We'll all multi-task just fine, so deal with it.

The problem is, you guys are terrible at multi tasking. Mizzou is a distant second to Cardinals fans.

There is no reason for anyone from KC to have an inferiority complex to STL. You guys have a better sports history, but KC trumps STL in livability, crime rates, economy, etc. Kansas City is simply a better city than is St. Louis. Y'alls prime passed in the early 1900's. DWI

Map is also a [somewhat] decent barometer of regions in which colleges with relevant programs exist.

Kentucky football is not relevant yet even the state of KY went college football. Missouri has no excuse!

Well if we are going to be fair about your "comparison" it would have to encompass the entire metro areas of both KC and STL.

Regardless, we are lucky to have both urban areas in our Mizzou footprint. They are both equally important and the longer that legacy parochialisms
segregate our fan base the worse we will be collectively in the long run.

I agree with this. Both are fine cities, but I find that many St. Louis folk portray a sort of superiority over Kansas City folk and it's just not accurate. Sure in sports terms St. Louis is the breadwinner of Missouri, but comparing city to city it's just not true. St Louis is the older, more well known and historic city. But Kansas City is younger, growing, and has many of its own great qualities such as BBQ, jazz, and suburban life, as well as a growing population vs the decline in STL. I intend no flame to STL, as it is an incredibly important and major part of my beloved home state, but I feel that many of the citizens there lack a certain perspective.

I grew up in St Louis and love Kansas City.

All the noise in between is just stupid. This state would not be as awesome as it is without either one.

Most importantly, The University of Missouri wouldn't be where it is without both these diverse urban areas.

We live in a great state with two incredible and historic metro areas. It's really time to put the angst to bed. Having some fun with one another is fine when it comes to the pro sports but when it comes to Mizzou...that shite should just disappear...forever.

This is the SEC:

June Baseball >>>>>> October Baseball

Even Vanderbilt fans know this.

h jones==know your history. Missouri was a big southern identity in the old days. When Truman returned from WW I his mother in Missouri would not allow him to enter her home wearing a yankee uniform. Missour is an excellent fit in the SEC.

Which is why I can't figure out why there is one. Look, I don't live in either city anymore, from the outside looking in each city has good and bad. Both are pretty similar. Now, as far as MIZ being a distant second to the Cardinals, what team do you think the average Chiefs fans would prioritize if the Chiefs were as dominant as the Cardinals.

It wouldn't be Mizzou, but maybe you could multi-task?

Surely you can pick up on the difference:

Missouri - has an MLB team in the playoffs, alongside two NFL franchises in-state, another MLB franchise, an NHL franchise and an MLS franchise.

Kentucky - Zero pro sports, two relevant college sports programs.

Well shite ... Texas A&M is the only college team worth watching in Texas.

Cowboys fans are addicted to the train wreck which is that franchise and will watch it no matter what and Houston actually has a good team.

I actually believe that if there was a "Both College and NFL" that Texas would have been in that category.
