because another regional school is sucking up all the oxygen.

Because that big school refuses to go into the smaller towns where the best player are in Missouri. Jamieson made a huge mistake just going into St Louis.

He also left Crowder alone, which was stupid. They would have given him their best players.

Recruiting base is good, fan support and facilities suck. Facilities can be built up but I just don't ever see the fan support being very good. So many other baseball options in the state.

Near impossible. Cardinals, Royals, Cardinals AA in springfield. Not to mention the other nearby minor league teams for both pro clubs in Omaha, Wichita, Memphis, and NW Arkansas. (All either AA, or AAA)

All better baseball nearby.

We like baseball well enough...just not college baseball.

Makes sense. None of the SEC schools have professional baseball within a 3 hour drive

Just admit it. You are shitty baseball fans

Or you know. An MLB team 1hour 45min in either direction and a AA team 2.5 hours south.

The team also hasn't been very good for awhile.

Definitely need some new blood. Vitello should be the guy.

The AA team doesn't count. We all have AA teams or bigger within an hour of our campus.

Point was more that each of those AA and AAA teams are associated with local Major league teams as well. Better baseball.

That is part of the reason why mizzou will never have a big fan base in baseball. So many other sources sucking up fandom time and dollars for a superior and related product
