Teams go to bowl games and they earn money for it. That money is then evenly distributed across the conference.

So you're saying you're a communist...

Notre Dame went 6-6 and turned it down. 5-7 Missouri shouldn't even get an invite. it's embarrassing to accept the bowl bid with a 5-7 record

Obviously not. The league isn't forcing 5-7 teams to accept bowl invites. And the amount of money that would be redistributed to the other schools is negligible.

Exactly, and no one can make them play. In fact, it would be racist to force a group of African men, being used as slave labor, to perform for the enjoyment of what would be a majority of peckerwood hate mongers/Klanners in the stands.

Not only this but, the "Independence Bowl" is in a slave holding state that murdered other human beings to try to keep their ancestors in chains.

No, it's not. If you want to wear the SEC logo and enjoy the conference's money, then do your part.

I bet you're the guy who is in the bathroom when it's your round.

Good for Mizzou. Now will Kentucky do the same thing?

Every school expenses the entire amount of the per school pay out for going to a bowl. That leaves very little to be shared by everybody. The money that is divided is the pool that the NCAA pays each conference which is already set before the bowl games are decided. The SEC is not losing any money from Mizzou turning down a bowl game it doesn't deserve. That is my understanding, if you can prove otherwise, I would love to see it.

Missouri is fricking over the entire conference by not playing and getting that money. Everyone else that goes to a bowl game will be sharing their earned revenue, but Mizzou just said frick everyone else.
