Is the dumbest thing I have heard. Letting player practice and play in a bowl is always a good thing. Only Notre Dame turns down bowls...

Why would you wish ill on all of America? No one in their right mind wants to see this year's Mizzou team play ever again.

Are they also gonna refuse their share of the SEC Bowl money payout since they refused to play & contribute to the total???

No. They are all goose-stepping commies. That's the way they work.

Guess they weren't "hungry" enough to play.

Mizzou needs to be fined by the SEC for failure to add the revenue from a bowl game. Then give the money to the rest of the conference schools.

This. SEC members shouldn't even be allowed to turn down bowl bids, since the revenue is to be shared with member schools. You can be sure that Mizzou will be more than happy to take their cut from everyone else's bowl revenue.

Shyt I will send you a check for 3 dollars because that's about all the "revenue" you were going to get outta a Mizzou bowl game.

So, should Mizzou get their share of the approx $15-20,000,000 SEC bowl payout since you're refusing to participate??

Teams go to bowl games and they earn money for it. That money is then evenly distributed across the conference.

That's certainly true - but, I think it misses the point. I applaud the decision to represent the conference as one that is not "money first" but "football first". To your point though, it is a business.

They should be kicked out of the SEC and/or denied all revenue sharing for this year.

Missouri is fricking over the entire conference by not playing and getting that money. Everyone else that goes to a bowl game will be sharing their earned revenue, but Mizzou just said frick everyone else.

frick them. yankee bastards.

Listen, this is a little more complicated than most of you seem to believe.

What does the word "independence" mean to Africans? Nothing but misery and shame and hurt.

They don't have independence and the Africans at Missouri are smart enough to realize this. Good for them. They are aware of the social injustice done to/being done to them and aren't about to lower themselves for whitey in a so called "Independence Bowl".

They haven't been independent since their own brothers and Muslim Arab slavers rounded them up like wild animals to sell to the state of Missouri.

All of you keep being smug and arrogant, that is what the sons of plantation owners do; I would expect no less from all of you.

No-win situation. If they had accepted the bowl invitation, the entire country would be laughing at them. And rightfully so.

Any school that finishes 1-7 in conference play does not deserve a bowl.So many crappy bowl games now that losing teams are invited.
