I would like to talk about how the Big-Ten should have expanded. If the Big-Ten had added Missouri and Notre Dame instead of Maryland and Rutgers, college football would be better off.

Big-Ten West -

Nebraska
Northwestern
Wisconsin
Missouri
Iowa
Minnesota
Notre Dame

Big-Ten East -

Michigan
Michigan State
Indiana
Purdue
Penn State
Ohio State
Illinois

SEC is then able to add UNC instead of Missouri and conference-realignment would have been complete.

Sec-related because I mentioned Missouri

We turned them down.

Might have been foolish in hindsight, but it worked out in the end.

This would have helped CFP controversy this year as well. OSU and Notre Dame would have played in the championship game, eliminating one of the two.

If I was the B1G commissioner and I was looking to expand, I'd add Mizzou and Kansas if I could.

The only non-AAU school the Big X will ever invite is Notre Dame. Nebraska lost their AAU standing a year after joining the Big X.

They went cheap on the front end offering “junior membership,” gambling that we had no other options.

Nebraska jumped at the chance of a junior membership and they’ve worked out well as junior members of that league.

Maybe Arkansas and LSU can backfill the B12 when OU and Texas leave.

Only the top research universities are members of the AAU. Oklahoma is not exactly a great academic institution, they will never make it.

I believe the SEC only has 4 members: Florida, Missouri, TAMU & Vandy. Georgia is also a very good school, surprised they fell short. Don't think anyone else would be close.

No I strongly disagree UNC are uppity snobs and they would not fit in with us at all. I happen to like having both Mizzou and A&M in our conference. If we have to take any ACC team it would need to be Clemson but I don’t want to get rid of Mizzou.

Arkansas belongs in the Big 12 with Texass more than Mizzou belongs in Big 10

I like it but I like North and South better.

North
Wisconsin
Minnesota
Michigan
Iowa
Nebraska
Northwestern
Michigan State

South
Ohio State
Notre Dame
Penn State
Missouri
Illinois
Indiana
Purdue

Not perfect but much better than seeing Maryland and Rutgers on the lineup

That has the same problem that leaders and legends had; nobody will be able to remember it.

The only thing that would change is that some other team would beat the piss out of Arkansas on Thanksgiving weekend instead of Missouri.

I still don't know why they took Nebraska instead since Mizzou is also in the AAU.
