No I'm not, ask any Texan.

They are the only state that could succeed from the union.

They can fly the state flag higher than the US flag because they were the own nation and never became a real state instead are a nation within the US.

Their beer is stronger, it is the strongest beer in the world.

All facts according to Texas State history taught in Texas schools.

[quote]SUBCHAPTER B. DISPLAY OF STATE FLAG § 3100.055. Display on Flagpole or Flagstaff With Flag of United States (a) If it is necessary for the state flag and the flag of the United States to be displayed on the same flagpole or flagstaff, the United States flag should be above the state flag. (b) If the state flag and the flag of the United States are displayed on flagpoles or flagstaffs at the same location: (1) the flags should be displayed on flagpoles or flagstaffs of the same height; (2) the flags should be of approximately equal size; (3) the flag of the United States should be, from the perspective of an observer, to the left of the state flag; (4) the flag of the United States should be hoisted before the state flag is hoisted; and (5) the state flag should be lowered before the flag of the United States is lowered. The fact that you live in Texas has nothing to do with this discussion. ANY state can display the flag at the same level as the Union flag should they choose to do so.

BTW, I also reside in Texas. My sister went to Baylor. Like you, she thinks herself far more intelligent than she actually is. Must be something in the water in Waco/Hewitt.

Not much since it's the weak shite but they do have it at some grocery stores. Last time I was there ('96) my father got all pissed b/c the bar would not sell him a double but would sell him two separate shots at once. Strange people those Mormans.

I know people in Tulsa who will drive down across the red river to buy beer, its like they are in the 1800s in have to prepare to leave out once a month for supplies.

They too think they beer is stronger in Texas, they would save four hours of drive time, one way, going to Arkansas, Kansas, or Missouri (since they are no longer a 3.2 state).

It's real cute how some of you Southerners try to pretend it wasn't really about being scared slavery was about to be ended. shite, that was part of why the South ended up joining the North for the revolution against the Brits.

You realize that Texas sent 112,000 to fight for the Confederacy, right? More than some " Southern" states

Oh, Im aware without brave Tennessee Volunteers they would be North Mexico. The shame of it is, after Davy Crockett and those brave Tennesseans gave their lives, Texas is now giving it back to the Mexicans.

Except we wouldn't b/c the US was always going to move to take over the West. Again, Manifest Destiny wasn't some Southern ideal. It was essentially US policy. Hell, the only reason our govt didn't annex all of Mexico after marching on Mexico City was b/c of the slave state issues it would have created.

It's scary how many dumb rednecks really believe this. This is why southerners are dumb.
