We beat a ranked team on the road.
We’ve won three games on the road.

I get that Georgia is pissed that anyone else is even playing football in the east. But you’re not a smart guy.

If you can’t differentiate between our teams performance last year and this year, there’s not really any point in having a discussion with you. I’d wager you haven’t watched anything beyond the highlights of our games after the Georgia game. Either that or you’re just not smart about football.

Missouri is virtually the same team as last year.

SOS has been significantly tougher. Better record through 11 games.

Shouldn't be much a of a question here.

Missouri won 3 road games last season. It is a sad state of college football when 3 road wins is a triumph of improvement (when it is not).

You crushed Florida last season, too. They are over-rated. The evidence is close wins over Vandy, Miss State, and South Carolina. They should be ranked. But not that high. College football is down this season.

Missouri crushed the competition down the stretch in 2017 and everyone said... look at the improvement. Until it was bowl season and you lost to a bad team with a great punter.

2018 is a mirror image. Missouri's defensive numbers are better than 2017. But the offensive numbers are worse. Missouri's 3 conference wins are the exact same as last season. If you hold serve against Arkansas, you will have the exact same 4 conference wins as last season.

You are splitting hairs.

So we both agree that Purdue is not a better team than Kentucky.

Shocker.

Purdue did stomp Ohio State this year.

But conference games were a lot better this year. Yes, probably same record in conference, but the losses were far more competitive. Two of the losses were really blown games by Missouri if we are being honest.

I've said at least twice in this thread that college football is down this season. UK and UF are both overrated.

That cuts both ways. Vandy and Purdue wins were close. And those are bad teams.

Missouri is a good team. But not really any different than last season.

Yea, I mean I don't think they are national title contenders or anything, but they are a solid football team. Upper half of the conference for sure.

The big difference in 2017 Mizzou and 2018 Mizzou is team physicality.

Huepel's offense tried to trick you in the running game. Dooley's would like to run you over.

On defense, they're physical and swarming against the run, but without classic DLineZoo defensive ends anything above incompetent QB play has picked our secondary apart.

So you're correct. We're a solid, but incomplete team.

His link was going to show that Purdue is ranked better than Kentucky. To justify it as a better quality road win.

Thanks for sharing that.

It looks like the numbers have changed this week (Kentucky is ahead of Purdue now).
s&p per summerofgeorge

I agree that kentucky is overrated. But it is borderline asinine to put a 5-6 team ahead of them.

Cheers
