Does anyone else think because Mizzou is in the title game it's sort of dumbed down? There just doesn't seem to be that much hype about a newbie up north in Atlanta against Auburn. I think Mizzou has watered down the SEC but that's just my opinion

Thanks for dragging down our Strength of schedule by losing to Div. 1AA Georgia Southern. Talk about dumbed down. BTW the 2 Gators blocking each other in that game really looked "smart" and brought great pride to the SEC.

Im not a fan of Mizzou and im sure some of their fans on here know that already, but watered down the SEC? no not this year, I think they gave the East a big lift considering the cliff that Florida fell off and Georgia getting beat up, they seem like a pretty well rounded team just hope they represent well after the SECCG

Without Mizzou a 2 loss team would be in the SECCG.

Is that what the OP wants to see?

Mizzou propped up the East this year with their top 5 ranking.

Missouri is very deserving and so is Auburn but as a perspective to the country it looks ugly. I remember there was so much hype when Bama and the mighty Gators played during Tebow era. This watered down match up doesn't even have gameday there this week they are at Big10 champ. game. I just hope the mighty will rise again in the conference and put the little ones back in their place. Go Gators!

I would tell you why but it probably wouldn't make sense.

GameDar isnt there for many reasons. A lot of people were complaining that they havent done a B1G game in a while. Also, I think Brent and Musberger got the call for that game, so its easier for them to do than covering the CBS game, then flying Kirk down to wherever after the show is over in order to call the game.

Mizzou / Auburn is the biggest game on Saturday,

Shouldn't matter. In 2001, Tennessee outnumbered LSU fans maybe 55,000 to 15,000.

Guess which side was louder at the end?

A 2-loss SCAR wouldn't look any better and wouldn't have Gameday there either.

And even if Bama had beaten Auburn and the SECCG was SCAR versus Bama, Gameday would still be at the B1G to hype the possible "controversy" of 3 undefeated teams from major conferences and only 2 can go to the championship.

And who is to blame for this? Certainly not Missouri. Missouri entering the SEC did not cause Florida to suck. Florida started sucking all on their own.

Missouri is the generic cereal on the bottom shelf. Sure, it may be just as good or even better than the brand name stuff, but meh.

It has the feel of the ACC championship no doubt about it.

I assume you're saying this because you're one of the "all that has to happen is...and we go to pasadena" fans, so you'll be super focused on the ACC championship game.

Beat that Aggie arse. Amirite?

Sad losing to such a "meh" program. 3 out of the last 4, no less.

This will definately be our toughest test since we had an extra week to prepare for the Tide. To me Missouri looks a little better than Bama but Ala has the better coach. Auburn has the experience and it's basically a home game in our 2nd state only about 90 miles up I - 85. Going to be a classic I think!

Actually, it's 4 of the last 5 and 6 of the last 8.

Missouri is one of the best teams in the country, with a senior QB, small forward sized-WR's, good RB's, and a veteran defense, so no.
