Please clarify why its not ok to make excuses after Mizzou wins but after they lose its not only totally acceptable but completely infallible logic?
I'm seeing a ton of posts that are claiming Missouri would have beat USC if Franklin and Gaines were playing. But when UGA and UF raised similar (and more numerous) complaints about missing key players when playing Missouri, fans raised their noises and complained that they were getting no respect.
So whats the deal Missouri fans?

Dude they were so good! They had beaten every team they played by AT LEAST 15 points! OMG!
But no seriously, the biggest reason USC fans are making such a big deal about this game is because of all the shite (most, not all) Mizzou fans talked last week. We just did the rant a solid by knocking them down a notch.

Its easy to play the what if game when you lose a heartbreaker like that. "What if Franklin never got hurt?" "What if Shaw played the whole game?" Both could've yielded very different results. Truth is though, injuries are just part of this game, especially in this league, and there are no asterisks in the win loss columns due to injuries.
I'm still proud of this team and what they have accomplished so far and they've got more work to do. They have far exceeded everyone's expectations and are still in a great position to win the east in just their second season. I'll take it.
Great comeback. Tigers could've and should've closed that game out multiple times and didn't. Credit usce for stepping up when it counted.

Not this Missouri fan. Bottom line. SC's TEAM beat MU's TEAM. Injuries are part of the game. Your team was better than ours yesterday.
