It has been a half a lifetime coming... I remember when the hogs left when I was younger. I grew up a Vol/Dawg... My mom and her side of the family all went to Tennessee, and my dad and a few cousins/uncles went to Georgia.

My life was always SEC football, and now my college is in the league. luckily, those schools are in the east. It is always awkward watching a&m vs those two though. The bowl games are always mixed emotions for me.

The real positive effects aren't noticeable yet...but they're coming. This move should scare the ever living shite out of the shorthorns...their advantage over the state of Texas is effectively over. Can't fricking wait to start playing in a real league.

That being said, seeing the very best teams CFB has to offer coming to Kyle is going to be a surreal experience for at least the foreseeable future. To my Big12 brain, every week looks like a damned Cotton Bowl right now.
