Hope he's suspended for more than just today's game.

Catcher shoulda been ejected immediately, there was no reason that shoulda taken 45 minutes to decide..

BUT the fact that anyone else was ejected from that game was absolutely absurd and changed the outcome of that game. Those officiating should never be allowed on that field again.

This emblem on a uniform can sometimes create an unusual amount of anger and animosity. I can relate to this.

Not to mention it was the SEC in Birmingham who actually ejected everyone, not the officials on the field

ETA: here’s the other angle btw

There is no rule for a 3rd out and the entire team walking to the dugout and being thrown out for that. And if Hunter Hines didn’t de escalate like he did then it would have become an all out brawl.

Dang, I feel sorry for the MSU fans coming to Athens, but not for him. Hopefully someone jerks a knot in his a$$!

Agreed. Ump was right there. Eject his dumb-arse, and press on. NO ONE with any common sense about baseball would have blinked about it.

it was ruled non - malicious first review (don’t know how) then dumbass Johnson challenged, causing the hour long delay, with multiple players on each team being ejected. I went to bed and still can’t tell you who all got tossed.

What was the catcher upset about? It looked like a routine play at the plate.

If you agree it was called incorrectly, how can you be mad at the manager for challenging the call?

Can you challenge a review or some other part of the play? I think you know the answer.
