TIA for any information

It's kickass. You have a locker to store booze in and can bring it in on Friday. I am not sure what the menu will be for the LSU game.

So, no Alcohol is served in the club, but I can carry my own stash in on Saturday or do I need to bring it in on Friday?
Thanks for the response, appreciate it

Well, there's no drinking. Find the fish head sandwich. Incredible! Oh, and I would Tiger Bait everyone I saw wearing maroon.

It's nice. They even cater food for you if you like.
All kinds of swell stuff, like Velveeta cheese with spicy Rotel Brand tomatoes melted in a bowl and served with corn chips. If they are your thing, they might come up with a platter of those little smokie sausages simmered in sauce with toothpicks stuck in them. I understand you can even get yourself a veggie plate - carrots and cauliflower pieces with ranch dip. Everyone knows we gat lots of cheese at MSU, right over in the Dairy products store across from Dorman Hall. We got Edam, Valigrette, Japalino Cheese pots, and some other kind I can't remember. I think they have crackers there too, and Ice Cream (chocolate, strawberry, Muscadine and some others, probably vanilla if you are a purist in your Ice Cream preference)
I digress, the Scoreboard Club is really nice. Right there close to where bully runs out onto the field as the marching band plays.
I always wondered - You guys keep your tiger all locked up in a cage don't you? What a shame. It would be so much more of an exciting game day experience if you loosed him on the field with the team and let him run amok for a while.

I appreciate the responses and comments. I will try to get up there on Friday to store some alcohol. Staying at the MSU Horse Park in the RV but will not arrive until Friday afternoon. First RV trip without my wife, should prove to be an interesting weekend all the way around.
Good luck to you guys in the game. Again, thanks for the information

You still need the alcohol covered in a backpack or something but you should have no issues on Friday. Don't wait till Saturday morning to attempt.

Food is good with several options. There's usually an entrée and side items plus you can go the burger and hot dog route if you prefer. You're up there seating wise but great perspective to see the game from. Very nice facility.

quote:There is a new road that connects the Horse Park to south campus that knocks probably 15 minutes off of trip. Used to have to go out Poorhouse, to Oktoc and come in on Blackjack. Now you come straight up and hit Stone. We'll know who sold you the ticket by where you sit. He'll be taken care of later. (Just kidding. I don't even sit over there).

Don't beat on the person too much, I will want to buy the tickets again in a couple of years when we return. Thanks for the information on the new road as yeah that will greatly reduce the travel time. Hopefully the bus system has been fixed. Two years we waited almost two hours for the buses to take us back to the Horse Park after the game.

Uber just became available in starkville so you might try that option too... I'd be interested in knowing if there were any drivers for the game to get some people to and from locations. i'm guessing demand for rides will be greater than amount of drivers.

Scoreboard club is the opposite end from the tunnel, above the student section.

Uber rates are outrageous on gameday. I booked an Uber not thinking about it last year for a game in Knoxville. We were about 15-20 minutes from the stadium. Due to demand and the number of available driver, it was 6x the rate and my Uber ride ended up being like $120. And this was in Knoxville. Starkville, I imagine, is going to have to rely on a ton of out of city drivers that come in to drive Uber for the game. I think the number of drivers available is going to make a ride to and from the stadium not worth it financially.

Its the way to go, especially in cold or really hot weather games. You will have a spread to eat, burgers, hotdogs chips fries for the kids, and depending whats on the menu anything from chicken strips, shrimp and grits, seasfood gumbo, bbq ribs etc. They have fountain soft drink machines and coolers with bottled water and sweet tea. As for Alcohol you will have to go the Friday before the game and put your bottle(s) of liquor in a cabinet for the game Sat.
Ive really enjoyed the two games that I have been lucky enough to go watch a game there. You can eat, talk, watch other games in progress before we kickoff and at halftime. Then we the game starts you have a great view from high above the endzone. It gets very loud B/c the student section is directly below you.
