Except the Ethics Commission has no power to penalize OM if they don't comply. They'll get a harshly worded letter added to their file folder

What power does the Ethic's Commission have?

The document says the Ethic's Commission should order OM to release the names. Will they order them to do so, and if OM does not comply what are the consequences?

The ethics commission will frown on them and tell everyone ole miss is unethical. Next week, they're going after water lest it be called wet.

And in other news, today we learned that the OP doesn't know the difference between a hearing officer's recommendation and an actual commission finding.

The ethics commission reviews the filing and makes a recommendation. I believe the AG hands down the punishment... which from my understanding is 25 dollars a day. it is bad optics though. easy for it to be reported on nationally to add to the already corrupt administration.

well what i just read is that they can issue an enforceable order in court. They did vote on this after the recommendation by the committee and it passed according to rosebowl. however i think John Doe can file an appeal to delay the releasing of names.

Yes they ordered OM to put out the booster's names. OM is a public institution not protected by education privacy laws like Leo Lewis and are subject to FOIA request.

BTW you reb are ignorant. try reading more.

LL is a student. His information was not supposed to be released. It is a violation FERPA laws. It is a federal law which is why both Leo Lewis and Kobe Jones have filed lawsuits against RR and OM. Rebel rags was not privy to that information yet somehow they received it and named them in their own suit
