False. He was co defensive coordinator and d line coach with Manny Diaz calling the plays for one year. Then he was co-defensive coordinator and d line coach while calling the plays for two years, except for the last game. (If you wanna look up stats n shite)

All that matters is what he did as a DL coach. That's what he has been hired to do. For me, he was above average.

I think most people are forgetting that the DL works within the defensive scheme. Diaz was the man who set the scheme, Wilson's DL operated within that scheme.

He was also more of a on campus recruiter. Not so much a trail blazer. Or so I am told. Does not make that any less important, it's not what I am trying to say. He was good at it. So if he is expected to go out on the trail, then time will tell.

He's a good coach and was one of Mullens's best oncampus recruiters... For some reason State decided preseason that they had one one of the premier Dlines in the nation cause they had some seniors and Quay Evans showed up on campus Xmas before last... Wasn't Wilson's fault... Dawgs were just wayyyy overhyped up front... They were mediocre talent wise in the trenches all season except for Cherrington and Boyd... Facts are facts
