bama is still after him hard, looking for the next drake-type homerun guy. wouldn't be surprised if he was this year's annual flip

Unfortunately, yes.

I really hate it for him because before he got injured this year he was on fire. Played too many snaps to get a medical redshirt. Just a terribly unfortunate situation.

Yeah, I don't see Redmond leaving either.

It's probably a toss up right now. Heard a lot of noise about NFL scouts eyeballing him.

We'll have safety Tray Matthews (transfer from UGA) and OL Austin Golson (Ole Miss transfer) available to play next year which should help tremendously.

Nah, Saban is setting up Daron Payne for that. But he's not fooling us... unless that's a decoy and Johnson is the real flip

Whoever returns a starting QB has the leg in the SEC. Whoever returns a quality QB will be the SEC Favorite. Teams are now living and dying with their QB play.

Auburn will be "different"...

On offense, Jeremy Johnson takes over and the offense changes to a degree. Duke Williams is rumored to be leaning towards returning, while running back will be divided between Racean Thomas and Jovon Robinson. The offensive line is my favorite part: any of Braden Smith, Avery Young, Austin Golson, Shon Coleman, Alex Kozan or Xzavier Dampeer could start. There will be a ton of competition there. My guess would be a combo of all the aforementioned minus Xzavier Dampeer.

On defense, we lose a lot up front, but add talent in the back end and everyone should return at linebacker. Carl Lawson returns, Tray Matthews is added into the mix and Auburn is also in the mix for a ton of Junior College linemen that would play right away (in rotation). I'm not getting my hopes up for an outstanding defense, but having Monty Adams, Carl Lawson, Elijah Daniels, Kris Frost, Cass McKinzy, Tray Matthews, Rudy Ford, Derrick Moncrief, Nick Ruffin and others on the field has me excited. We also lose that lockerroom cancer known as Jermaine Whitehead.

i still seriously doubt payne will commit to you, unless hes just getting some terrible advice. he doesnt fit what you do on defense, whereas hes perfect at alabama.

Won't happen.

Now, Darrell Williams from Hoover, he's another story...he has Alabama flip written all over him.

Don't be surprised if Braden Smith and Austin Golson find a spot on the offensive line. I'm not sold on Xavier Dampeer at center, and Austin Golson or Alex Kozan could take that position. Shon Coleman is a weak point in pass protection so he could also he passed over by Braden Smith (who the coaches love) and just go back to his role as the 6th offensive lineman.

I think..

LT - Austin Golson
LG - Braden Smith
C - Alex Kozan
RG - Avery Young
RT - Shon Coleman

I like this lineup, but I would put Braden Smith at left tackle, Austin Golson at center and Alex Kozan at left guard.

Either way, offensive line is Auburn's most talented position, IMO. Let's just hope they are able to mesh like the offensive lines did in 2010 and also in 2013...
