We held up giant fricking poster boards with pictures and numbers last year, and other teams couldn't figure them out. Kiehl and Loeffler manage to even frick this up in two games.

Very, very true. And it was decoded by a Sophomore LB in the middle of the game. That must be real complex.

I was referring to Matt Wells. The article said that he and Cam L. figured it out.

Matthew Wells got a 36 on his ACT and is already pursuing his PhD in Biomedical Engineering.

I don't think they knew the exact play just if it was a pass or run. You would be surprised by how offen teams figure this out by the 3rd quarter anyway.

That may be true, but every future MSU opponent will now make sure that signals are not this easy to intercept.

Does not matter.

Cam Lawrence has been calling out 75% of every play opponents run for 2 full years now. He is the best we've ever had at reading formations and tendencies at the LOS(smart guy, hs qb, film room junkie, etc). Go back and watch him play. He is constantly changing the defensive alignments/assignments at the LOS on a given play. Getting signals just allows him to make the adjustment a tad bit sooner.

Lawrence does this often, so maybe you should think about buying it.

He’s able to call out the plays, even before they run it.”

I said that after rewatching the first 2 games of this season snap by snap. He calls defensive adjustments on almost every play. Of course, the total number is theoretical based on the amount of adjustments that I see him making. May be more or less that he actually "knows"...

Lawrence is gonna make adjustments on almost every play, whether he knows what play is coming or not.

I'll think about it, but I probably still won't buy it. However, if it is true that you have a player on the field who has been predicting 75% of the other teams plays for years, it makes your record even more abysmal than it already is.
