People throw a lot on you because your pass D is suspect. If you play a lot of 3rd or 4th string defenders your coach is dumb. Cooper is gonna eat y'all's lunch, and you're going to give him seconds.

Redmond is our best corner and has the NFL body and speed of a corner. But he doesn't even start and Bama will move Cooper around so even when Redmond is in the game Redmond won't always be matched up. I'll feel good if Redmond or Calhoun are on him, but Love is the smallest of the three contributors and could be abused. If Lane is smart (and he is) he's going to take advantage when #5 has Cooper.

Why is our first half D:
3rd in oppo QBR
3rd in INTs
5th in TDs allowed
2nd in comp %
6th in plays of 15+ allowed
6th in plays of 25+ allowed
6th in YPA
Keep telling yourself whatever helps you sleep at night about how bad our pass D actually sucks -- and how it has nothing to do with teams airing it out in blowouts against our 3rd string...

We beat them that year, too; but, think many years they did not play AlaBama, nor AlaBama play Auburn.

Because he's coached MSU to the #1 spot? Because we were able to do that and still win? Because we were able to that it kept use healthy all season?

I know that the last team to win on the road at LSU and Bama in the same season was MSU.
