Very true. My eyes have truly been opened. I'm now taking DS's points as that of the whole fanbases. Enough with the conspiracy shite, it gets old.

Do you feel Bama is cheating to get the schedule they want? Serious question, or that someone is helping us out with the "easy games".

I don't think Bama is cheating to keep the schedule the way it is. I think they truly want to keep the Tenn rivalry game just as Auburn wants to keep Georgia.

I do, however, firmly believe that Ole Miss, Miss State, Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri and Vandy want to keep the easy cross-divisional rivalry games. Those schools, along with Bama-UT and AU and UGA are keeping the permanent rivalry games in place for their own personal best interest. They don't give a damn about what is fair and balanced.

It is in every single SEC West team's best interest to stay as far away as possible from Florida, who is 93-13 against the Eastern division since 1992. That is precisely why Ole Miss, MS State, and Arkansas vote the way they do. They are scared to death of Florida and what as little to do with them as possible.

It gives every SEC West team a major advantage to keep Florida as LSU's permanent rival. Just as it's in Kentucky, Vandy, and Missouri's best interest to play LSU and Bama as little as possible.

Everyone is voting in "their" best interest and could care less about what is best for the conference as a whole except South Carolina. They want what is truly fair and are willing to play tougher West teams to do what is just.

The only thing that could maybe make everyone happy is to do away with divisions and give everyone 2 permanents and 6 rotationals.

How does doing away with divisions solve any of the inequity of permanent opponents?

Please explain.

In my opinion, keeping divisions and not counting the single permanent non-divisional game for division titles is the only way that solves everything.

Tammany Tom is right on!

Good post, I agree. And even if those other schools don't intentionally vote to make their schedule easier, the fact remains there's an inequity now, and the powers that be should at least try to rectify it as best they can.

But how do you remedy it while keeping everyone happy?

Agree that will be tough, but I like several suggestions made by others, e.g., not counting permanents toward division titles, or eliminating permanents and rotate. Another poster suggested moving Bama and Aubie to the East, and moving Missou and another school to the West, which would allow Bama/UT and Aubie/Georgia to continue. No solution will be perfect, but there's got to be a better way.

How do you get completely "fair" schedules for every team in the conference?

Let everyone schedule a bye week before they play Alabama.

How's that?

No most LSU fans are bitching about mizzou and KY VS the cocks and UGA. Both those schedules were man made and nothing to do with any kind of rotation.

The BCS is NOT about putting the two best teams into a championship game.

It was designed to match #1 VS #2.

Are you saying OK St would have somehow become better than bama in '11 if they had made that FG?

They win that game and they make BCSNCG VS LSU instead of bama. Same with Boise. They go undefeated their in ahead of bama.

How bout bama and auburn move to the east and mizzou and vandy to the west?

If permenant cross division games are allowed, LSU VS bama.

bama '11 #1 team in the country, just NOT the BEST team in their own conference. NOT even the BEST team in their division.

No that's not right.

Twice saban has faced two of the three top teams from the east. In those two seasons he finished fourth and fifth in the west.

In same timeframe Les has faced two of top three from the east three times and hasn't finished lower than #3 in the west and that only happened once. Other two times LSU finished second in the west.

Now going into '13 it looks like Miles will faced two of top three from the east for a fourth time in seven seasons while saban is still stuck on twice.

If ONE AD didn't sign off on the bridge schedules they would have had to start over making schedules???

I don't think so.

Mark my word. The '14 schedule will end up being a bridge schedule also.

It's hilarious to me seeing LsU bitch and cry, then try and make it like Alabama is doing something wrong. Bitch we win, get like us! Oh ya, 21-0 (when it counts)!

LSU wants to be the premier team in the SEC but in reality Alabama auburn Florida have all done more in the last 5 years then LSU. 1 sec title then got raped in the big game. Congrats on your sec, we just took the national championship, in case you forgot, the one that actually counts, right from your back yard. Then embarrassed you in tiger stadium.... At night..... 3/4 bitches
