I think media scout types over value measurables...like hand size on a receiver, height on a quarterback, etc... Jeremy Hill will be a very good RB...and maybe better than Mason. Having seen them both up close though, I take Mason by a very slim margin. Mason is def top 3

OK...but where the hell is Beckham?

quote:

Offensive tackle
1. Jake Matthews, Texas A&M
2. Greg Robinson, Auburn
5. Cyrus Kouandjio, Alabama

I guess...but I think Greg goes first. I think CyKo had a rough few games but his measurables are off the charts which in the eyes of scouts, will keep his value high.

quote:

Jadeveon Clowney, South Carolina
2. Kony Ealy, Missouri
3. Dee Ford, Auburn

Love me some Dee Ford but I think his size will keep him out of the first round..probably off the first day. I think Ealy is small too right?

If there is a better LB than CJ Mosely, I want to walk near him with kryptonite to see what happens.

way too high. He was completely humiliated in the OU game. I think he gave up 4 sacks.

The freshman that abused him all night was an Arky commit before McGee left and Petrino realized he was a defensive player.

Well Mike Evans got shut down by a freshman against LSU.

Hill would have had more yards than Mason had he received the same amount of carries. Still looks right though...

And I hope he does...I guess I'm just over-thinking it...that at his size, he will have to play LB...a position he hasn't played since HS if at all...has been relatively injury prone and except for Auburn fans, really came out of nowhere this year.

I'm surprised that he has Jarvis ahead of Odell. They are both great receivers but I think Beckham has more upside

No homer, Kony Ealy, Michael Sam, EJ Gaines, L'Damian Washington, Marcus Lucas, Justin Britt, and Henry Josey will shoot up draft boards after the combine.

Ford will jump Ealy because he is a better athlete.

Ford is about 20 pounds lighter than Michael Sam, and Sam is considered too small to play 4-3 DE in the NFL. Ford should be graded as a safety or something IMHO.

Also to the poster that asked if Ealy was small like Ford, nope. Ealy is 6'5 275.

G Rob. will be the first OT taken after his performance at the combine. I feel like Mason won't hurt or help his position at the combine. He isn't the biggest or fastest guy.

Manziel and Mosely should be #1 at their positions.

Teddy Bridgewater is going to bust so fricking hard.

OBJ is more athletic and big play guy. And does have more upside. But also has more of a bust factor IMO. And he did have the occasional drops at LSU.

Still think hes a really good WR though. But I do think Jarvis is better than him. Not as explosive or as fast, but has a very high football IQ, great route running, best hands in the draft, and is extremely physical and a great blocker.

OBJ could be awesome, or be like Meachem IMO. Jarvis' ceiling isnt as high as OBJ, but he pretty much has no floor or bust factor. Hes going to be a productive NFL WR for a long time. Safer pick than OBJ.

I expect both to be good in the league though.

And those lists are ok. Has some good ones and some bad ones. Kadeem Carey isnt a top 5 RB?? OK.

Not sure how his measurables match up to Mack but he should be #1.

They offer different things. Mack has better value as a pass rusher VS an ILB.

Bad year. Realistically, is probably the 4th WR right now and may drop.

He doesn't put people on there he hasn't done extensive film on. Maybe he hasn't watched him yet?

He's a beast in pass coverage, but isn't there yet in terms of run stopping. He'll need a couple years to become great against the run. He's also a little undersized at MLB. Needs to gain 5-10 pounds at least.

Those are the main reasons he's not the #1 LB on every teams big board.

Jeremy Hill was the best back Auburn faced this year. His power and agility for his size is very impressive. He will have a good career in the NFL.

ETA: Tim Jernigan is a fricking monster.

He could gain 5-10 pounds in a week. CJ is gonna kill it in the league and I wish the Gmen would take him at 12.
