Our starring quarterback and team captain joined the team in JULY.

And? He’s started like 25+ games of P5 football.

Has zilch to do with what LSU’s secondary did

What is your litmus test for success for Leach? How average can he be and MSU fans be satisfied?

Mullen had 1 season with a winning SEC record in 9 years. So at least that

It’s one game
Sec will figure it out
Lsu failed to adjust defensively
Were without two best players in stingley and chase for different reasons
LSU failed to run the football to control the game

Leach loses games he has no business losing and it’s gonna happen this season

It's not quite time to say that Leach's air raid has succeeded in the SEC.

Just leave it here. He will be in the record book for ever. It technically has

Just watch the next three years. You’ll have 10 pro quality receivers and quarterbacks, and a high school defense. It’s what he does.

Not to mention Peterson figured this out immediately. There are smarter DCs in the the SEC than what’s currently at LSU.

There's nothing to "figure out". Peterson's defense was able to rush 3 80% of the time and still win the LOS. WSU couldn't even run successfully against 3 down and 8 dropping in coverage. If teams can do that (looking at you Bama and Georgia), then they will beat Leach every time.

I will say this - some of the throws that State QB made Saturday make me wonder if he isn't the best QB he's had. That could make a difference.

LSU only has 2 5*corners. 1 was out and the other is a true freshman.

I’m not sure anyone thought Leach wouldn’t win some games.

I don't think LSU had enough DBs on the roster to do that

Problem is that, in classic Leach fashion, they're going to lose some head scratchers.

Leach coached teams are weird.

So yall didn't have 3 LBs, 2 CBs, a FS, a SS, and a slot corner/hybrid?

Excuses are getting worse.

You have more talent across the board than MSST

Past crootin class rankings proves this.

Saturday, LSU had at CB: Flotte was a 3*, Ward was a 3*, Ricks was a 5* and Evans was a transfer from an FCS school. I'm not sure if Jones or Mcglothern played, they were 4*'s

Cant believe you’re arguing this fact. LSU is top ten, hell most times top 5 in class rankings

State is lucky to be top 30.

So your team got drug by a new HC on a West bottom feeder, so you let a transfer QB put up a record passing performance on you in your house in his first game in a new system, It’s embarrassing I know. But goddamnit, take it like a man.

We got outplayed and outcoached; though I don't think MSU is a bottom feeder anymore. I'm stating facts, idk what you want

Is it good enough to help State be a consistent 8-10 win a year team? Absolutely. I don’t think anyone expects them to be Bama under Saban. Arkansas under Petrino is what they are aiming for.

The air raid will be as good in the SEC as you qb will allow. If you have a good qb, the offense will work anywhere.
