I bet this guy has unironically uttered the phrase "cultural marxism" sometime in the last week.

I could see them going to the PAC12 though.
They can't. Larry Scott basically said the only way that happens is if the longhorn network is rolled up into the PAC 12 Networks.
Since PAC12Net is owned by Fox and lhn by ESPN...

How can they only have 8 million subscribers when pretty much if you order a sports package you get the LHN.
Confused by that.
Because not all sports packages cone with the LHN? Did you graduate highschool? How do you not understand this?

Texas is a cancer ... they'll hurt any conference they join.
To be fair, the Big 12 was tops before they let the Big 10 whisper in the ear of Nebraska. Big 10 is the cancer so if Texas goes there they can get cancer together,

tu drove them away. Nebraska was happy in the Big 8. When the SWC joined the power shifted from NU/OU to tu.

Good to know Gundy has become a Trotskyist. I look forward to Okie State equally distributing T Boone's money to the other Big 12 members. The SEC should drop to its collective knees and pray Texas blesses them by joining their conference. We'll get things fixed up over here. Just do what we say and we'll all get along just fine.

Do you think Longhorn played a role in Aggies leaving?

Why is a thread about a Big12 coach dissing the Longhorn Network on the SEC Rant?

PSA for those with no reading comprehension skills:
He is saying there is a possibility that Okie lite, the Land Thieves and texas will come to the SEC. He is wrong of course but that is Oklahoma reasoning. The SEC will survive without the Tulsa and OKC markets. SEC already has the Austin market, so another team from Texas is not needed.

Replacing the aggies with Texas is a great idea !

Agree to disagree, Big 8 had 8 of the 12 members including 2 football schools and a basketball school. 8 Big 8 > 4 SWC yet they voted to allow the Big 12 to move HQ to Texas.
Big 8 = Fredo in this point and have to take some responsibility for allowing it.

Sure, their network provided the political coverfire we needed to leave the Big 12.

Because Gundy has SEC envy. He wants the remnants of the B12 to more like the SEC.

All conferences should operate more like the SEC, the big 12 is a dictatorship like Cuba where toilet paper is rationed and no internet access is allowed, and they look longingly at the functioning and thriving society across the water in Florida

It already has killed the league, but they are in denial. There is no Power 5. It is the Power 4 (Big 10, SEC, PAC, and ACC w/ND).
And it's a shame to because the 90s and very early 2000s, the Big 8/12 was loaded. That was before Texas re-emerged as a big power under Mack.
