Wasn't the QB in 2000. Which makes the loss more pathetic.

Nothing was more pathetic than the 21-0 loss to USM. Completely dominated by Southern Miss. We all knew it was over before that, but it by God screamed it at that point.

No wonder DuBose pulled of that 1999 season.

21-0 to Southern Miss and it could have been worse.

Twice to La Tech. The 97 game was a blowout loss and the 99 game we have the lead with 2 min left and Tech had to go 80 yds. They converted two- TWO 4th and 27's to keep the drive alive. The biggest insult was the TD pass came from the backup who was in for one play.

1-3 against State

1-3 against Arky

Now, he sucked for sure but Stallings won that title in 92 and I don't care what he says, his staff says or the admin says, he basically quit after that season. I'll never forget his comment when asked about a couple Auburn players we didn't get. Their high school coaches said we didn't show up much. When asked Stallings said , "meh, if they wanted to come to Alabama they would." I appreciate that one title but I don't hold Gene in the same regard a lot of Bama fans do. He was as responsible for our 10 year disappearance as anybody.

I love how people talk about a coaches coaching tree. When they talk about Saban and use Fisher it makes me laugh. Fisher played and coached under Terry Bowden and was a product of his philosophy.

Nope. OC under DuBose for 1 year? Hardly part of a tree.

Fun fact: I took home ec(don't laugh, they made everybody take it) from his wife in 6th grade. Very sweet lady. Can't comment on her bush though.

Also knew his secretary he had an affair with.

Come on man. His 94 team was a play or two away from playing for another national championship.

I think he lost the fire during the 95 season, then Bockrath started meddling and he said frick it during the 96 season.

Dabo Swinney was a grad assistant under Stallings.
