Not a huge difference in what Gurley has faced defensively. Again, not even addressing the point my comment addressed.

If UNC, Vandy, and whoever the hell they played run D is equal to or better than what Gurley has placed, please let us know. If not, then look in the mirror and realize that you are an idiot. I mean, that powerhouse UNC has a stifling run D.

Has Davis been more productive through 4 games? Sure
Exactly.

is he a better RB than Todd Gurley? No.
That is opinion. It may be right, but it may turn out to be wrong.

Geez 1 freak ankle sprain an dall of Sudden Davis is the best in the SEC? Eat a bag of dicks.
Again, while the ankle sprain sucked, he has had the same number of rushing attempts as Davis, so an argument that he suffers from a lack of opportunity doesn't really float.

No bro, that wasn't a freak accident. Richt is riding his star pony too hard and doesn't care about his future and Gurley can't handle the pressure. Richt is running him into the ground and Gurley will continue to get injured.

Davis averages 159 yards per game from scrimmage. Gurley averages 123.

Vandy, UGA and UCF are pretty much on par with USCe, LSU and Clemson.

UNC is slightly worse statistically than North Texas, but in reality probably not.

Irony.

Well, his best game was against UGA. Also, North Texas says right back at you.

198 yards at 9.9 yards per attempt against #6 UGA.

Has played 5 games and has 100 carries, 29 more than Gurley and Davis. And hasn't played the same competition USC and Georgia have.
Still 100 yards ahead. Call me when the "best RB in the SEC" is actually #1. Collins has had the most yards since week 1.

Got me on that one, which remind us all again that at that point of time our run was pathetic. but now? Nice difference.

So, the level of competition (aside from our game), has nothing to do with it, eh? Well damn, since Gurley isn't facing such run stoppers then his stats are worthless. Come back at the end of the season and the we'll revisit this.

The level of competition hasn't been vastly different. But even giving the Gurley the edge in playing a tougher schedule, which I do, the schedule hasn't been 35 yards per game different.

I revisit it every week in my rankings. Check them out sometime.

What? Davis has 25 more total yards while playing 1 fewer game and zero games against FCS teams.

Eh, 89. Again, YPC for Collins=5.97, Davis=7.15 playing against tougher opponents and Collins doesn't have the most YPG.
Also, Davis leads the SEC with yards from scrimmage because he is a receiving threat while Collins has 2 catches for 13 yards.

From an unbiased SC and SEC fan. Its Gurley above Davis because his body of work is greater than 4 games. Gets so old when people jump on a bandwagon so quick. SC fans pointing toward him being injury prone is also hypocritical because we spent so much time defending Lattimore. Davis is not better than Latt! He might become better, Latt is better in the red zone, better blocker and better receiver out of the backfield.

Collins has been #1 since week 1. Hell Davis wasn't even top 3 until last week.
