Glad UGA hired Bobo, not someone that would take their elite talent and put them in a creative offense.

Nice that UGA offense is about to suck.

Bobo is a terrible coordinator. if yall are successful, props to your recruiting.

I mean, I also remember when SCAR fans laughed at us for making Muschamp Co-DC.

Mike's UGA offenses produced similar numbers to monks without the stout d and oline. Wouldnt get too comfortable...

Mike Bobo

The man that holds the record for points scored per game in UGA history?

Well the obvious difference is that Bobo has been Georgia’s offensive coordinator once before. And wasn’t exactly popular.

That and Muschamp as a coordinator was never an issue. He’s just not a good head coach.

Yeah I mean I’m not terribly enthused about it either but people are acting like he didn’t average 40 points/gm during his previous stint here when 29 points/gm was the national average.

With grossly-inferior talent, no less.

Bobo had his critics and supporters. Same as nearly every coach ever. But he produced top offenses in 2011-14 and was hired away because of it. Hell, averaging 42 PPG with Hutson Mason as QB is incredible

Not that anyone cares to hear it but Bobo averaged 35+ a game and held all of our offensive output records when he was OC until Monken came along.

He’s getting shite on because his HC tenure at Colorado St was meh and he jumped on shite staffs as OC with 2020 South Carolina and at Boise South before coming back to UGA as an analyst.

Now, flame away

So did Gus. He doesn't know how to coach an offense anymore either.

I think he’s a good OC. At Auburn he was hindered by Harsin and the coaches Harsin hired. I think it’s a downgrade from Monken but not significant.
