Missing multiple starters on offense and defense means it wasn't the same team that skunked Miami. No reason say that it was just to make your win look better.

And who was Alabama missing after October 3?

It can't be both ways.

Was that the same team that lost to Florida State, Virginia, and Notre Dame?

Yeah, no one that I have talked to thinks we have a chance in that game. There will definitely be some dumb-dumbs online though.

Their fans were a super cocky bunch before the LSU game

Miami doesn't have fans. At any level in that city. They have people who jump on the bandwagon when any one of their irrelevant teams manages to sniff success. Outside of that, the landscape of Miami "fans" is desolate.

This is true and OP is terrible for not providing any link to alleged "cockiness" from Canes fans.

What is relevant is Miami has struggled with SEC teams for the past 20 years. The U is 6-6 against the SEC since 2001 (with 5/6 wins coming against Gata lol).

The last time Miami was number one was in the 2000s and they never played Bama in that time.

Miami talked a lot of shite last time they played LSU to open the season...then found themselves losing 33-3 in the 4th quarter.

Congratulations for whipping a 7-6 Miami team whose best win was over a Pitt team who finished 7-7

I’ll die on the hill that I prefer a team that’s confident. Makes sports more fun from the objective POV, and it certainly triggers Bama fans when they’re “disrespected” by a team thinking they have a chance to win.

Unlike LSU who knows they have no chance vs Alabama 90% of the time.

In case you are real young ESPN and the media picked Miami in a blow out. Miami players claim they would win by 40 plus.

I remember. They were supposed to steamroll us.

Funny thing, there was one journalist that had Alabama his number 1 team all season. He was laughed at. But in the end he was right

I was at the damn game.

The Miami-Alabama game was a lot like the 2009 Florida-Alabama game. An undefeated defending national champion that wasn't quite as good as the previous year getting their asses handed to them by a much hungrier team with comparable talent.

Miami was unbeatable that year Heisman winner tons of NFL speed and early 3rd quarter the game was over. Miami took an old fashioned physical beat down. Bama is better this time and Miami is a shell of what it was back then.
You must be an old fart, to admit being an Ole Miss while talking shite all week about other team’s success when it’s been over 60 years since Ole Miss was relevant on the national stage. You’re an embarrassment for the Rebels…

Youngins, y'all have no idea how bad fans of the U were from the 80s-00s. The worst fanbase in college football history. Take it from someone who lives in South Florida.
