I'm pretty sure Pitch 25 is family friendly. It's not too far from the stadium and it a good spot to watch othet games especially soccer. There's a solid burger place nearby called Rodeo Goat too. ...
I can't think of any coach that has said "I want to be a coordinator for my whole life" and leave it at that.
There aren’t many, but some guys are more than happy to just be a coordinator and not have the heat that a head coach takes. Bud Foster and Phil Parker are two good exampl...
Today was the most calm signing day I can remember. Everything went as expected. Landing Ricks tomorrow would really tie things together nicely. ...
Is Brian Polian the worst coordinator of any unit in the country?
Our special teams are terrible and need to be fixed, but no he isn’t the worst coordinator in the country. That “honor” goes to Brian Ferentz....
Tennesse has definitely played more high end opponents, and I can see arguments that they are better than LSU going forward, but it’s hard to say they’re better right now when all of the advanced metric are saying LSU is better. Is being 2-2 in Q1&2 games better than being 4-0? Tough to say at t...
May I ask who LSU has beaten that could have a winning record against a 7A high school schedule?
Belmont is a pretty good squad. They are ranked 56 in the Kenpom. Tenn’s best win is UNC who is ranked 37th. SoS in Kenpom for LSU is 173 while Tenn’s is 232. I’m not saying tha...
 You’re not wrong. I hope the changing of the guard makes the team more successful, but I’ll believe it when I see it. ...
I haven't figured out why Christobal would make the move to Miami.
He was born in Miami, played for Miami, and coached at Miami....
Couldn’t agree more. Additionally, he is recruiting just fine for a school that has higher academic standards than us and worse in state talent. The rankings below are the composite for ND since 2017. 2017: 10th 2018: 10th 2019: 15th 2020: 18th 2021: 9th 2022: Currently 4th with 17 blue ch...

The guy has exceeded expectations at both of his prior jobs. Toledo and ISU are extremely hard placed to win at. Outside of his first season at ISU, he has never finished lower than 4th in his conference as a head coach. Why can’t he compete at a high level when given the tools that we can giv...
LSU isn’t hiring Matt Campbell. Relax!
Personally, I would like the hire. He isn’t first on my list, but I think he would succeed at LSU....

Iowa State Recruiting Rankings

There has been a lot of talk regarding Matt Campbell’s ability to recruit. The chart below shows how both Matt and Paul Rhoads recruited to ISU based on the national composite. Clearly, this doesn’t tell the whole story, but Campbell has improved recruiting in recent years after establishing himself...
Here is an article on the coaching staff from Cal Lutheran. The current head coach, Ben McEnroe, was the OL coach in 98. It doesn’t explicitly state what his role was. He said this regarding Aranda, “Aranda was a standout boxer who came to Cal Lu with shoulder issues, never panned out as a pla...
Nomar garciaparra was my favorite player. Would he be considered overrated by today’s standards
He was overrated in the sense that some people were claiming he was going down as one of the best shortstops ever. He had an amazing slash line in Boston of .323/.370/.521. His OPS+ wa...
No they’re not
Yeah, no one that I have talked to thinks we have a chance in that game. There will definitely be some dumb-dumbs online though. ...
they dont have anyone that considers them a primary rival
Exactly this. I think a&m was heading that way, but with Texas joining it will be hard to see it reaching primary rivalry status now. ...
I feel like Florida fans consider yall a rival
They definitely do, but we are usually third or fourth on their list of rivals behind FSU, UGA, and UTk. It’s just a weird situation for us where all of our rivals feel that way, and there is no consensus for who our biggest rival is....
You know the cheating scandal had nothing to do with the pitching, right?
Yeah man. I only think he will have to wait based on how the hall of fame voters hold grudges. I think that over 25% of voters will will keep him off the first ballot to prove a point. He is clearly deservin...
Pujols, Cabrera, Verlander, Kershaw, and Scherzer are the only future first-ballot hall of famers currently playing.
Trout is a lock at this point. He has three MVPs, has been in the top 5 in voting every year since his rookie year and already has as much WAR as Molitor....
