Coach McElwain has won the East twice in a row and -surely- silenced some of that "West is so much better than the East" rant.

You could say the same about Florida. You guys had some pretty big breaks in this game.
1) Bad fumble inside the five results in no points. Great play by the Florida defender, but Guice should have protected the ball better.
2) Botched FG. Just a WTF fluke moment.
3) Fumble on the KO return gifted Florida 3 extra points.
4) The goal line stand to end the game. Obviously a great stand by Florida, but I would have like to see a different play call there.
5) Beckwith (our best defender) getting knocked out of the game with a fluke injury. The last Florida drive simply doesn't happen with him in the game. His backup (Alexander) gives up 30+ lbs to Beckwith and got pushed around by Florida's physical backs.
So ... a lot went Florida's way to win this game. I wouldn't be so arrogant about it, because your team just isn't that good!

Uh ... not really. Florida lost to Arkansas and nearly lost to LSU. These teams are #3 and #5 in the West, respectively.

Florida's entire team was injured against Arkansas.

Their QB is a crappy backup from Purdue who couldn't beat out Luke Del Rio.
