$333k/year, that's quite a deal.

So UF is gonna pay him what 3-4 mil a year and he is gonna pay 333k to CSU... Damn. Really a bad deal for him.

He was only getting 1.5mil a year at CSU so he still gets a big raise if his salary is in the normal SEC ballpark.

I wonder if CSU gets a home game v. UF as well in the next few years.

Probably not. Normally a home and home wouldn't warrant any payment.

Wait, you are bragging that your new coach is such an idiot that he agreed to such a crazy buyout that he had to chip in to make it worth UF's time?

Seems like I wouldn't brag my new leader sucks at decisions.

Top 5 for sure. I think that's a good hire.

Florida has really good players now. If he recruits well(And I think he will) he will do very well there.

Do you always just make shite up?

"To settle the dispute over McElwain's $7.5 million buyout that had hung up an agreement before Thursday morning, Florida agreed to pay Colorado State a buyout of $5 million and agreed to a future football game with the school in Gainesville, a source told ESPN.com, confirming a report by the Denver Post. Colorado State will be paid $2 million when it plays the game at Florida, according to the newspaper."

Looks to me like CSU made Foley their bitch.

Hey now, UH got a $500,000 discount on that $7.5 million.

Like one of those crappy post-Cybermonday deals that isn't really a deal.
